What a lovely bassinet- well made and looks very traditional and craftsman like with the "wood" work which I believe is actually metal at least in most places. The pad has a solid bottom as does the lower storage area. The bug netting is a huge plus and fits nicely over the top. It is sturdy with adjustable legs and height and the height is independent of each other so you can have one side up and the other down. Material is nice and seems high quality - stitching is aligned and tight making for a perfect fit throughout. Took my daughter about ten minutes to put together. I had hurt my back so I was observing and as she was putting it together she commented at how easy it was and said it was for sure a five in her opinion. The con - it is a bit of a rough rocker. You flip the wheels up to enable the rocking feature. It isn't terrible but it takes a bit more effort. Our plan is to use this in our guestroom and love that we can easily roll it into our family room for those times we are babysitting our grandkids or when our kids are here with the baby. Long term we will likely gift our crib from our kids room and keep this as it takes up a lot less space leaving more room for toys! ... show more

The quality and functionality of this RICUTON 3 in 1 Baby Bassinet meets or exceeds all of my expectations. Assembly was fairly easy and straightforward. I'm most impressed with the rocking feature, since my last bassinette didn't have that. Other than that, it has all of the other necessary features such as wheels for portability and adjustable heighth. It's sturdy and it functions as expected. It includes a handy storage shelf and an insect net. I've found these 2 features to be very convenient additions. The mattress is the typical thin foam pad on top of a support board. It has a zip off, washable cover. The cover doesn't fit super snugly, but that's not a problem if you use a snug sheet/mattress pad, like I always do. Although it's designed to be used as a bedside crib, it doesn't have the safety straps to secure the bassinette to the bed. But honestly, I've had them included with past bassinettes and I never bothered to use them. So that doesn't really bother me. That could be purchased separately if needed. Overall, I love the design and the look of this bassinette. The gender neutral color scheme and the woodgrain painted metal, makes it look nice everywhere I "park it" for use. ... show more

I love this thing. Initial impression is that it looks great! There is an elegant look to it which beautifies the room. Giving props to the person who chose the colors on this product. Even more impressive is the design! So simple but so helpful. For example, the "rocking" bassinet feature is you simply pulling out the wheels horizontally, allowing you to rock this bassinet to soothe your baby. Game changer! Such a simple idea but executed so superbly. Another example is the storage space on the bottom to put bibs, diapers, wipes, whatever else you might need. That little storage space makes life just so much easier for any parent of any newborn. Way to go whoever designed this for acknowledging we need the storage space. Also love that this can transform from a bassinet to a bedside crib. To do so is so easy and just makes things so convenient. Really love this product. This is a really nice bassinet, my favorite feature is that the side comes down, so if I am sitting on the couch I can just reach in and get baby without having to get up. You can also adjust the height, so that it suits your day to day needs. They really thought of everything when designing as it also has a rocker feature and mosquito net screen. Got this for a friend's few months old baby, and it's rally great! Didn't take too long to setup, maybe 10-15 minutes, with only sort of pain in setup being getting around some of the corners of the inside. Zipper works well, rocks and has wheels, mostly stable, and has a nice look to it regardless of gender of baby. I believe it's max of 30 pounds, but ofc that's to be expected from a bassinet. This bassinet was easy to put together and should work for most beds with several the height adjustments. I like the wood look this one has. Fabric and mesh quality feels good.
