  • Can use with confidence.
Style: 3/8-Inch Size: 2.2-44.3Ft-lb/3-60Nm
Never really trusted the mechanical torque wrenches that clicked at exactly the right torque. This is possibly because I'm a novice bike mechanic. The Vanpro torque wrench gives me assurance that I'm not over tightening, as it emits a sound when I'm getting close. Very happy with the product.

  • A good digital torque wrench for motorcycle and small engine repair
Style: 3/8-Inch Size: 5-99.5Ft-lb/6.8-135Nm
This is a well priced digital torque wrench that can go to lower torque ranges needed occasionally for motorcycle and/or small engine repair. Has a variety of units which is handy for working on different makes. I’m still getting used to not having a physical click, but the beeps seem to work well to get you close and hit the value needed. Comes in a nice case, seems very sturdy so far with limited use. ... show more

  • Made in China quality
Accuracy seems to be good. Positives are the backlight and easy to read display. Tracking mode shows real time torque information as pressure is applied. Led indicators to show when applied torque is reached as well as audible tone. Negatives are the cheap Chinese build quality. Almost has a toy like appearance rather than a precision tool. Case is cheap with plastic hinges and latches. Came with a screwdriver to take off battery cover which is comical. Hopefully this holds up to my timing belt replacement project. Will give updates if I run into any problems. 1/2 inch version ... show more

  • Best of the best
Style: 3/8-Inch Size: 5-99.5Ft-lb/6.8-135Nm
For some low end torque specs, you must have it. So far is very precise and accurate!

  • Needs several improvements - Lacks leverage and ratchet capability
Style: 1/4-Inch Size: 1.33-44.25inlb/0.15-5Nm
I bought this torque screwdriver to accurately torque some M6 aluminum bolts. Yes, aluminum bolts. (only Porsche would dare do this...) Yes, it does what it says it will do. It will torque any fastener that needs very low torque input relative to the torque wrenches most of us have in our tool box. The directions are ok at best and could use a lot more explanation of how to reset to a different torque setting once a setting has been set. I dialed my torque setting into the wrench per the instructions and then went about torquing 13 M6 aluminum fasteners in a 2-step procedure. The first thing I noticed is the screwdriver has no ratchet. So as you torque a bolt, the screen that shows the torque may or may not be facing you. Mostly, not facing you. You can't just back a ratchet mechanism up and twist since there is no ratchet. But, it does have visual LED's (that you can't see when facing away) and an audible beeping to let you know how close you are to the set torque levels. I did learn that even without being able to see the readout hearing the beeps did work fine. I would prefer to both hear and see as I approach the torque setting. Now, I'm a big person but I have to tell you twisting the 1.5"-2" diameter handle to 30 inch-lbs to 40 inch-lbs is not easy. You really need more mechanical leverage to easily control the torque as you approach the desired setting. A torque screwdriver designed for really low torque levels needs some sort of T-handle type design to help slowly and controllably approach the torque setting. The small diameter just doesn't have enough reasonable leverage. When I went on to the second stage of torquing the aluminum bolts I tried to increase the torque setting. I thought I'd just keep pushing the up arrow and that would be that. Unfortunately, that didn't work. I looked at the directions and found no help. I turned off the torque wrench and then turned it back on and it then let me increase the desired torque setting to the second step. So, overall, not great but it did what I needed. I don't know if there is anything better out there or not. Hopefully this will help you decide what makes sense for you. ... show more

  • It's easy to use and is accurate
Style: 3/8-Inch Size: 2.2-44.3Ft-lb/3-60Nm
I do my own bicycle maintenance and on carbon frames, tightening to the correct torque is essential. I already have a mechanical torque wrench but I wanted a digital one for easier use. This one is easy to setup, and I've tested it against my mechanical one and is pretty accurate. I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Broke in less than a year (around 100 torques total)
Style: 3/8-Inch Size: 2.2-44.3Ft-lb/3-60Nm
It worked great while it was working, but after around 11 months it does not let me adjust the torque setting anymore. :( sad because it was really helpful for more precise torques. Tried to leave the batteries out for over a month hoping it would reset in the chip or something, but no luck. It's stuck at the 19 ft pounds I had set it to a few months ago on my last project where I needed a more precise torque wrench. I press the up and down arrow and the screen just freaks out. It still counts down to torque applied but I'm unable to change the setting off of 19 ft pounds :( other wise it's a good project but leaves it practically unusable like this unless I can get my head in to watch the torque happen on the screen (I own a Subaru so that isn't often lol). Always put back in its case and stored in my room with my other precision/valuable tools I don't keep in the garage (bore scope, torque wrenches, etc) and I handled it with care. ... show more
