We usually have 20 or more hummingbirds in the yard everyday. We have 6 feeders and 4 birdbaths. I have never thought of using a solar fountain. It's amazing, the first day the hummingbirds started flying in the fountain( I'd hate to see but there is a hummingbird in the spray on the top left hand side). I need to put it in a bigger birdbath so the water doesn't spray out. This is a great addition to any yard. The variety of different spray heads is also a great added feature. I've only had it a few days but based on the strength of the fountain and the fact the birds love it I would definitely recommend this item. ... show more

Works great in our bird bath. Plenty powerful and a nice selection of fountain shapes. Requires occasional cleaning to remove algae. Required good sun exposure. There is no battery to store charge, it runs directly off of the sun.

    • Fun and easy to use
This little fountain is great in a large bowl in the sunlight. It sprays water up through fittings that have a small single hole or are pierced in a pattern. It's all plastic with an integral motor that operates only on solar power. It has to be left either in the water or in the dark, so it can safely run when it gets light. It recharges with the solar light and will start operating immediately. There doesn't seem to be a way to turn the motor off, Not a problem, you just have to figure out how to use it best for what you want. I plan to put it in a bowl or bird bath that has a good volume of water and use the sticks to center it on the bowl. Then I will have to keep the bowl full of water so it can run every day. Worked when I first purchased, a few months later stopped working. Tried to contact seller fir a replacement, not successful. Contacted Amazon, refunded my money less than I paid for it. I question that, they said it wasn't restocking fee. Another words, if the product fails after the window of return, you are out of luck. Not only do you have the product, you got a refund less that what you paid for. Don't buy it, it is not worth the aggravation ... show more

I am SO impressed at how this little solar pump works SO extremely well!! From some of the reviews, it seemed they were Little more then a gimmick... but even with no direct sunlight... and at 7:30 pm.... it's still pumping a little bit of water! I think there is no need for the variety of sprayers as birds just need water movement... not spraying. So I took off the sprayer and holder which are a beautiful light purple so it looks like a little flower in the water fountain... I took it off and now the water is more like a natural water bubbling up and I'm hoping to attract especially the hummingbirds. For now they're still getting used to the bird bath itself as well as the new fountain. Highly recommend this solar pump. Easy to clean. I set it up near one end of the bird bath wedged between a couple stones so it Durant fkiat all around. Now the birds will have more room to bathe👍🏻☺ ... show more

I had high hopes for this solar fountain, but it was a total letdown. It only works when the sun is blazing directly on it, and the second a cloud passes by, it stops completely. The water pressure is weak, and the nozzles barely make a difference. Plus, it just floats around randomly unless you try to weigh it down, which is super annoying. Definitely not worth the money—save yourself the frustration! ... show more

I love this little fountain. It works better in full sun because it is after all solar powered. It works so well that I have to use a larger container because the stream shooting up can splash the water source out. This little fountain is near my bird feeders on the patio. They love it too. When the water isn’t full enough the little bumpers can fall off. Easy to adjust. There are little stilts in the black foam and the bumpers arms slip right back in. The media could not be loaded. Absolutely worth the money 💰. It's beautiful and maybe a little to strong lol...have to try all the nozzles and find the one that doesn't spray the water out of the bird bath 😀 😉
