I’ve actually never used melting spray before. So, I have nothing to compare it too. Where I live is very hot and humid. The melting spray holds up on walks to work in the morning. I wear my band on the way there and let my hair dry down a little before taking it off. I would do the same thing if it’s extremely hot and humid on the way back. It’s not going to last for days but it will for several hours if that’s all you need. Think of it like lash glue but for your hair. It will last under the right conditions for a little while, and if you know how to finesse it. As long as you’re not tugging on it it will stay in place fine. On a good lace it melts beautifully and there is no white residue. I don’t spray it directly on. I dab it because it will run, but it’s easy to use and I’m not a stylist. Far from it. There could be better sprays out there but this one is good if you don’t have access to them or if you need something that won’t break the bank. ... show more

The product works but at some point I couldn’t get it open and it spilled every where and the sprayer is not good the it just went all over my forehead didn’t stay in place too runny.

This item does not have a good hold, I put it on and 10 mins later my lace is back lifting, it also makes a big mess and turns everything white, do not believe the reviews.

If you just need to hold it down for 48 hours or less. This will give you a much better result than Ebin. It was very easy for me to take off after 2 days of a solid hold and reinstall in in less than 5 min the next day. It’s a quick dry. Especially with a blow dryer.
