These were super small. I bought then for my son's. My 10 year old has dread locs about 4 inches long. His hair wasn't necessarily too long, but his head would not fit into the cap. And his hair was left exposed. My 7 year on has a low hair cut, a fade, and the cap was still too small. The quality is nice, it just won't fit my kids head. I've had waves since I was 16, and now I'm 20. I still have durags from when I was 17 that are still working till now. I can tell the difference between good and bad durags and wave caps. These are good for now but I will have to test the durability.
