I have older Craftsman 19.2v drills with the all-black NiCad batteries. I like the drills and thought I could upgrade them with the new red Lithium batteries. Lithium battery works well with tool, but not at all with old NiCad charger. You need a charger labeled for use with Lithium batteries for this upgrade to work. ... show more

    • After Using this Battery, Changed my mind.
I received two (2) batteries from this dealer. One functioned properly , the other didn't. There was no way to request a replacement battery from the defective one. To add insult to injury when returning a product that did not work YOU are required to pay the postage. Second Post: I returned the defective battery; hopefully for a replacement. In the interim I used the remaking battery for a project. It has performed far better than any other battery I have owned. It makes the Craftsman batteries appear to be toys by comparison. I was upset by the lack of testing the batteries prior to their shipment. But now I recommend them highly! ... show more

Updated- June 25 2022: So as of today I have only used these 3 times and only with my craftsman weed eater since I received them in May this year. They both went downhill quick. First time I used them, they lasted the entire cut and I only trim 600ft. Second time, one only lasted 50ft before it died but second battery lasted the rest of the trim. This third time both did not make it 50 ft. Not sure what is going on and had to use my old lithium batteries I kept to finish the job and they are 5 years old. The pair I got did not even last longer than NiCd would. They are past return date but may still try to call and see if an exception could be made. I honestly have not used this as often or heavy as some may. This battery does appear to be made of and with good quality in mind. I do like the battery charge light on it to give me an approximate indication of how much charge is left. It did allow me to perform my task with just one of these batteries versus the two needed of my old batteries and still show a considerable amount of juice left in it. Like most things, time will tell which is why I do not think I can truly rate its longevity. I would recommend this product to others as it is a good value to me and the quality looks more than acceptable ... show more
