I like this radio! It has many features but could use some improvements in technology! I do not like the fact that the phone will connect to the radio, even with the power of and car is off! That means the radio stays on and connected not only to the phone but my WIFI, which makes it easy for hackers to connect to your router. I do not like the preset volume setting, even when you adjust it to the lowest settings it sounds loud, but if you like LOUD music this is your radio. The volume will not lower low for conversations without talking loud to each other. But other than that this is a great radio! But make the mirror casting easier to link to the radio for navigation, I should not need a APP, which my security phone app says its an unsafe website or malicious damage can occur. This is my second one I have tried from 2 sellers and these models have the same issues, which makes me a little uncomfortable. Again, its a great product but fix those issues that can make people feel uncomfortable, I can't use my ear bluetooth because the radio keeps connecting to my phone when the car is off!!!!!! ... show more

This radio has been very good up until today when zlink stopped working. I tried several things to get it going but finally resetted the unit. Everything came back in working order. 3/5 stars is fair. Was definitely 5 stars before zlink stopped working. Seller needs to give us the ability to download the zlink APK safely if needed. Edit: Seller provided a new APK file for zlink and a partial refund. More than fair. Still love the radio. ... show more

Purchased this on August 15, 2019 and had a go around with the seller about the camera because I got the mistaken impression from the description that the camera was wireless. Seller refused return/refund. We eventually reached an agreement but I had to keep the unit. I toyed with using it as a door camera and even putting the wired camera on a remote controlled pan/tilt so I could use it as an outdoor security camera. Nothing worked well, so it laid around collecting dust until I bought a 2013 Ford Transit Connect XLT that was easy to install a wired camera in. I had to make a custom camera mount because the supplied mount simply would not let me tilt the camera down enough to see the back of my carrier on the back of the van. While it was easy to run the camera wire, getting to the backup light wiring wasn’t, but, since I wanted to be able to keep the camera on as a rearview mirror sometimes, I use this >> Smart RF Relay Switch eMylo Wireless Remote Control Switch DC 12V RF Receiver 433Mhz Relay Module Home Automation with Two Transmitters Two Channels 1 Pack << as a remote control to turn the camera on/off. This also lets me use the camera lites as a rear utility light at night. The F-Car app is apparently useless for anything other than directing the camera video to the screen. The supplied Music Player is garbage since it would only play songs in one folder/album and it wouldn’t stay in shuffle mode. *****Replaced it with the Real Shuffle Player from the Google App store. I have over 2300 songs in nearly 200 folders/albums and I can go days without hearing the same song twice. The downside is that the player controls on the main screen no longer work and so far I have not found a customizable Android Launcher that actually works.***** UPdate CarWebGuru Launcher seems to both work and have a music player that is pretty versatile though setting up playlists could be a lot better. If you make use of the FACTORY SETTINGS via 8888, you can set your music player (and a couple other things)to boot on start when you turn the car key on so you don’t have to go find the app and manually start it. Not sure why, but everything beyond about 10 foot from the camera takes on a red/orange hue but the video is steady and very acceptable as a rear view camera even at 70 MPH on the highway. The seller in an answer to a question recommended the AGAMA Launcher but when I read the reviews they didn't look good and it was a 30 day trial so paying was essentially required. Fortunately AGAMA does allow the music player to work and it does get the player controls on the main screen to control the player. So I bought the full version. I think it will be well worth the money since it will also let you have a nice compass on the main screen. One thing I am now regretting is that I didn't get the 2G+32G model but I am going to add a USB SSD stick so accessing the data on it will be faster. ... show more

Installed in a 2004 Lincoln LS and it works great, definitely would sound better with aftermarket speakers, sounds great with an added sub! I like that it has a subwoofer output along with a Left/Right output separately. Overall this unit is nice for the price, I bought the 2gb HiFi unit and it still takes quite a while to fully load an app, I highly recommend installing a nice “Launcher” which is a new user interface from the google play store, there’s quite a few to pick from and I recommend “Vivid car-launcher” gives the entire unit an Apple device look and is much easier to navigate than the ui that comes on the thing ... show more
