Description

The Ridge Grappler tires by Nitto are engineered for all-terrain performance. They feature a dynamic hybrid tread design for quiet and comfortable rides on roads thanks to their variable pitch tread pattern. The lateral Z grooves and shoulder grooves in varying lengths and widths expel mud and slush for better traction and improve grip for better maneuverability. The step block edges and alternating tapered edges add biting edges for better wet and dry traction.

I can't give a long term review, but my initial impression with these are good. I don't know how they will wear, but they seem to be a decent compound. I bought these for a trip and I got good gas mileage with them, good grip in the rain, and overall they were fairly quiet. Definitely on the lower end of the road noise level. My husband and I love these new tires that we put on our 2 door Jeep. They look amazing. Now the gas mileage isn't as good as it was before, but we are ok with that too. We also bought a new set of wheels to go with these tires that really set it off. When we take longer trips, we will switch these wheels and tires out for the original ones because the gas mileage is so much better. Got these for my 2018 4runner TRD Pro. They are a little big, so they rubbed in one spot when turning in reverse. Easy fix though. Only occasionally rubs now, but totally worth the look it gave my 4runner! I get so many compliments on these tires!!! So glad we got them! Holding up great as well!

I bought these in 285/70r17...bigger than stock tires for a wrangler. The fit is good no scrubbing and the noise is no louder than the street tires. Still fairly new, will update later.

Good ride and quiet. Looks great on my f-150. They are good on dirt roads and mud. Snow and ice they aren’t the best but it is a A/T. Would recommend these tires.
