  • Worked well
Very useful and worked well.

  • BIG
This are quite long and big. I didn't realize they'd be that big. Bigger than I need at this point in time in my winemaking exploits, but one day they'll be just right when I get more ambitious.

  • Amazing for home-brewing
I bought these for making homebrew mead, wine, and beer. They work wonders and very cost effective.

  • Useful for Ceramic Glaze
I needed a long stirring rod to be able to mix up my ceramic glazes. I have some in 5 gallon buckets, some in 2 gallon buckets, and some in smaller jars. So far, these have stood up well to scraping and stirring the chemicals back into the glaze, and have been easy to clean. They are a bit unwieldy for the smaller glaze jars, but very effective for the rest! ... show more

  • Perfect for Beer, Wine, and Mead!
perfect length for the 5 and 6 gallon buckets. Great and heavy duty!!

  • Weak handles
Better not want to stir anything thick with these... I got them to poke at laundry in a washing machine and the handles are simply too weak to handle it. So if you have anything beyond a thin liquid - laundry, beer mash, stew... Not useful. Would be ok for liquid only.

  • Flimsy when hot.
The plus side: They are long They fit in a carboy The down side: They are decent unless your using them in a hot situation like boiling, or stirring mash. The get flimsy and mishaped.
