Well this is my first e-bike. I read through the reviews. I'm going to hit on the customer service first. When I put it together or ran great then I messed up the settings then nothing, "my fault". They sent me the original settings list within the same day and it was great again. Now the bike, wow! It's worth it ladies and gentlemen. I got it up to 40mph. You can change the speed settings, I did change it back to 30mph but man is it fun. The features on this bike is out of this world. You can change how fast the battery will drain. To it off road and it did amazing. The brakes work well for how heavy the bike is. I'm 210 6ft 1nch and it stops on a dime. This bike is well made and worth more than listed. After working through a charging issue we finally got it running. Before the review of the bike I have to give a shout out to a fantastic customer service team! These people are incredible at making sure you are happy with your purchase. Now, the bike....WOW! A bit heavy but very durable. Nice and smooth going down the road. I took it through some slightly rough terrain to test its durability and it did just fine. Will most likely be used for road use so this tells me all I need to know. I would definitely consider another purchase if I find the need for another one. Assembly wasn't all that bad but be sure to double check everything with the proper tools. The bike is great. It has a beefy look and it is powerful. The torque is awesome on this bike. It is very responsive and comes with a top speed (throttle only) of 28mph. I played with the settings and got it to go 40mph with throttle only. Let me tell you, that is ridiculously fast, but it was still very stable. I am going to set it back to 28 for most of my needs. If I get it out on longer and more open roads/paths, I may crank it back up again. 28 is a great speed for throttle only. It's a great experience thus far. The shipping is a wait, but the delivery date was pretty accurate. I am 6'1" and 185 pounds. Speeds may vary depending on your weight! ... show more

I bought the AMYET EB26 e-bike for my son as a gift. He says he thought assembling the bike would be difficult, but it was easy to assemble. It has all the accessories needed (a very sturdy frame, cushioned seat, air pump, stop on-a-dime brakes, signal lights, bright head light, a horn, a powerful battery and charger, fat tires and awesome suspension that absorbs all the bumps when riding, etc.). This bike didn't disappoint. It rides smoothly on dirt surfaces. It's easy to put together. Using battery power alone, you can go about 11 miles per hour. Would have given 5 stars if it was not for the missing battery in the delivered original box. This e-bike was ordered on 8/3/23 and paid in full including the delivery fee. It was delivered on 8/11/23 without the battery. As is, it seems I purchased a plain bike for an e-bike price and not an actual e-bike as advertised on Amazon website. I have been in contact with EMYET bike since 8/11/23 regarding the missing battery as I was wronged. EMYET did communicate constantly, but it took a month (9/8/23) to obtain the replacement battery from China as the warehouse in CA did not have one. As for bike itself - This is not a premium bike for mountain biking, however it does the job for my needs with decent power and good quick cadence response to kick in the motor for the pedal assist. Bike has held up very well. Assembly was straight forward. Plenty of power for dirt roads. Great battery life. I have done many 20 mile round trips on a semi rough road out in the woods. Also got caught in some rain with no issues. The only con thing I didn’t care for was the fenders are kinda floppy but they function the way they should.
