Like others I looked in local stores for these and prices were 3-5x higher.... The legs were removable which worked nice for me as I wanted to blend this softer padded headboard to a japanese-ish style walnut bed frame for the rest of it. This is a nice headboard for the price. The material is good quality, however pet hair does stick to it quite a bit. I also ordered the 60" bench and I am happy with the design and quality, but again, if you have lots of pets (like I do) it could be a little annoying to constantly remove the hair that sticks to it. ... show more

The headboard is very easy to assemble and is very sturdy. A little unusual is that the legs are packed into a zippered slot in the back of the headboard. Seems to work azs the headboard arrived without any damage even though it is rather heavy. The tufted buttons look great. I have a King bed and just put the headboard between the wall and bed. Very sturdy and lallows me to separate the two when making the bed. Very Happy with this purchase. ... show more

This is a quality headboard. As nice as $900 one I saw at furniture store. The gray was a little darker than I expected but it's lovely and works with my color scheme. We have an adjustable platform bed so there was no way to attach to bed. We discarded the legs and hung it on the wall with a french clip. The clip was a 30" length, which was overkill but I wanted to be sure to screw it into at least 2 studs. It is firmly attached and does not move at all. I just pushed the bed up to it. ... show more

Quality fabric. Ordered the ivory headboard (true to color/as I was expecting). Light-weight, when lifting box upon delivery, but sturdy headboard, when assembled. I love this headboard. I was reticent to order this from Amazon, but I shouldn't have been. The color (blush) is exactly as it appears in the photos. I was happy to find that it's sturdy and well-made. The velvet is good quality. Didn't take very long to assemble. I was ready to spend big bucks on a headboard and have one custom made, but did want to wait four months.
