Improve the indoor acoustic environment, mainly by diffusing and absorbing sound waves to reduce noise and echo. This type of foam often features specific geometric shapes, such as curved or wavy forms, to increase surface area and enhance the efficiency of sound wave contact with the material.
  • Upgraded Accessory: Includes 150 pcs of high-strength double-sided adhesive, absolutely free, to simplify and streamline your installation process. Designed to protect your walls while providing a secure bond that's easy to apply and remove without damaging your surfaces.
  • Easy Shape Recovery: If the sound proof foam panels do not return to its original shape, simply soak it in water for a few minutes, then let it air dry. It will typically regain its form within 24 to 48 hours.
  • Versatile Applications: Ideal for targeted sound treatment in studios, offices, and beyond. These panels are also perfect for recording studios, vocal booths, and control rooms, offering a versatile solution for any soundproofing need.

  • Use SPRAY ADHESIVE to stick it to CARDBOARD (then hang the cardboard on the wall)
I've used all kind of studio wall panels. Here's the deal with these. 1, they're effective. 🎶 2, they're waaaaay cheaper 💵 than what they carry in the local music stores 3. they might be a fire hazzard... 🔥 I read nothing about anti-flamable properties.. 4, you'll need time and patience to properly un-squish them. 🚧 The panels come super compressed (flat) and expand to like 10x their size. Around half of the panels expanded just fine on their own... ... The other half required a lot of time and manual effort to pull them so they can expand properly. It takes time and patience, and if you have money to burn then don't waste time on these... Spend your megabucks on name brand acoustic panels and you'll be happy. For everyone else, these are a great way to afforadbly cover your entire studio in paneling.. It's just going to take extra time to expand them all properly. VERDICT : recommended. ... show more

  • Thick enough to actually work
Most of the foam panels I see on this site are super thin, and I'm not sure they actually do much. But these are 3" thick—that's pretty significant. Might actually cut some high end reflections. Won't be much help with room mode standing wave stuff though. But also they look cool!

  • Fresh look, Good quality, Great price
I find these foam tiles' sound-dampening/reflection-canceling ability to be on par with or slightly superior to similar panels I've used. Thickness is definitely a factor; at 3", they are better than the typical 1-2" thickness of other budget panels. The look of these panels is what grabbed my attention. Since I use my recording space for video as well as audio recording, the appearance of the space is nearly as important as the audio-dampening capabilities. I use a modular floating panel system so I can swap out panels from one shoot to the next to vary the look of each project. These contoured panels bring a freshness that really stands out. Overall, these acoustic panels offer better than average performance in their class with a unique appearance and at a very reasonable price. ... show more

  • Decent Look, Works For My Needs
It's been a constant battle to get the right sound in my home studio because of the odd size and challenging inside construction, but these panels have definitely helped out in a few of the acoustically problematic areas. They come compressed out of the box, but after opening them up they reached around 90 percent of their shape in the first few minutes. I was able to pull them apart very easily and I let them sit out for the recommended 48 hours to fully retain their shape and also to air out the chemical smell they come with. These are lightweight panels and come with adhesive to attach them to the wall, but I used pins instead because I was dealing with a wood backing and it worked out well. Overall I'm very happy with the difference in sound that these panels have helped to shape and I can definitely recommend them, they're very easy to work with. ... show more

  • I actually like the smell of these
I saw a lot of comments saying they have a chemical like odor, but to me they have a nice new car scent. You know that new material, new upholstery smell. Anyway. They attenuate sound well enough. You won’t be making an anechoic chamber with them, but you can clean up the sound reverberations a little bit if you can put them in the right spot. When they first come out of the bag, most of them come back to full size, except for the edge on one side. It takes a few days to fully expand, but you can help it along if it appears scrunched together unwilling to expand. ... show more

  • Impossible to peel the backing off
I like the product itself but it is impossible to peel the backing off the stickers. Going to buy adhesive spray.

  • Improves acoustics
I got these as I work from home, and this makes it where people can hear me clearer, and it cuts down on external noise coming in, so it's a win win. The reason it gets a 4 star instead of 5 star is because it's supposed to come with 330 adhesive dots to install the panels, but mine only came with 100 dots. It is kinda smelly when you take it out of the packaging, but I let it air out for a day before installing it and the odor dissipated. This is a nice choice if you are trying to make a space with good acoustics for recording, as there's no echos when you use this. ... show more
