The burner comes with optional feet in case you don't want to cut the counter top. It's not too difficult to put together but most of the steps needed aren't in the instructions. The burners do fit securely if they're turned the right way. Has electric start. Looks very nice.

Whether you are planning to install (use) it in your summer kitchen or an RV - this IS the unit to consider: 1. Comes pre-installed with orifices for Natural Gas - swapping to propane ones (supplied) is a 5 minute fix. 2. Unit comes with "legs," so you can use on surface or install it into the counter. Supplied tape helps to have to install it without scratches, etc. 2 clamps supplied to install from underneath. 3. The unit is piezo-powered. However, ideally it would be 12v vs. 120v, but it's ok - we have an inverter that we use in our RV anyway, so an extra extension cable and problem is solved for us. So, to be clear - make sure your electrical outlet is nearby. In RV set-up - you can get a mini-inverter that plugs into 12v outlet to power electrical 120v devices - they cost about 20 bux. Problem solved! 4. Manual is decent - good explanations and translation is reasonable. 5. Pot size is 12-18" wide. This mini-stove is not designed for "chef" cooking. Although our in-house "chef" already approved this stove and is able to whoop-out amazing dishes! Overall - this is a great solution for those who seek form, size, performance - it checkmarks all those boxes quite well. Our installation is for the RV - we are replacing our current countertop and this stove will be part of the kitchen. We looked at many options on the market and this one is definitely THE ONE! This is the perfect size for a small RV or camper. I like that it has ‘legs’ so it doesn’t HAVE to be installed. Easy to connect to a propane tank, I just wish it came with a hose for the connection (we had to purchase that separately). We have an inverter so it is great to take for a picnic too. The user manual is easy to understand. I would recommend this for a permanent unit in your small apartment or RV/camper, also great for picnics using an inverter in your vehicle. ... show more

UPDATE: I'm leaving my original review below. I received the fitting I ordered that allows me to easily and SAFELY connect this cooktop to a regulated 20-pound propane tank (see photos). I added 1 star, but still deducting 1 for not including the correct fitting for propane. It's a really nice unit and I would definitely recommend. Original review: This is a tentative 3-star until I get a vital piece that is not included but is pretty much required for a safe transition to propane. More on that later. It's a nice little cooktop, especially if you're running NG. I temp hooked it up to our grill NG supply and it lit easy, and the two burners were controlled easily from the front controls. It will make a great side burner for our big grill. But that won't be til spring because I have to cut it into a tile countertop. It's basically "pretty" and will fit in well to our grill area. The cast iron burner topper is REAL cast iron. So in the meantime I want to use it as a countertop unit... That's why for now I deducted 2 stars... They only include a strange elbow fitting that looks like it's for clamped rubber hose. No way I'm running propane on that kinda rigged up connection! If you plan on running it off of propane, what you need is a 1/2" NPT female to 3/8" male flare elbow to go along with a regulated hose connected to your propane source. I have one on order now from Amazon (item B09Q8FM39L). This fitting would have turned this into a 5-star review, and really should have been included. So, until I get the fitting I'm holding back those 2 stars and will revise at that time. For NG use, however, it's a 5-star cooktop! ... show more

No gas line for Propane gas/LNG. Very poor instructions. Should have at least had install instructions for propane and told buyers a hose with pressure control was required.
