Our youngest child is graduating from college this spring, so we purchased this Mallrace laptop as a graduation gift. I am impressed with the quality and performance of this PC and believe it will meet all their needs. They will use this for gaming as well as work. This PC has a nice bright 16" display, a full-size keyboard, and a large touchpad. The build quality is very high, with a slim and light, all-metal case. This laptop feels like a high-end device, and has a lot of small touches that suggests strong engineering & design. Powering this device is a Intel Alder Lake N97 processor, along with 16GB of RAM and a 512gb SSD. The display is a Full HD IPS panel at 1920x1080 pixels. Windows 11 comes pre-installed, so it is ready to go out of the box. The laptop has a wide range of ports including HDMI, three USB 3.2, USB-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a TF card socket. There is also an integrated security lock slot. The stereo speakers are mounted on either side of the keyboard and provide great sound. One of the things I like about this PC is that I could easily upgrade the memory and SSD. By removing 10 screws from the bottom of the case, I was able to open the case to get to the memory and storage. It was extremely easy to pop out the 16GB and replace it with 32GB, and I plan to get an additional SSD to use as a backup. I have upgraded other laptops that were very difficult to get to the memory banks--not this one, as it took all of 10 minutes to remove the back and replace the chips. I really like the performance of this laptop. The processor is fast, the screen is bright, and there is zero bloatware loaded with Windows. The software includes a gaming application that lets you customize some of the performance settings to optimize the PC for gaming. I did not go into the BIOS, but I am certain that you can adjust the clock rates there to get the most out of your gaming experience. I am tempted to get another one of these to replace my 3-year old work laptop--I believe that the gaming features of this laptop would enable me to easily run databases and spreadsheets. We were very skeptical because it was a newer brand, but we are very happy with this purchase. It runs great, it doesn’t sound like an airplane taking off, and it plays our games well. All in all, I suggest this pc for the price. It’s worth it.

I like this Gaming Laptop performance! From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell this laptop was designed for serious gamers. Powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 5825U processor with 8 cores and 16 threads, it delivers smooth and responsive gaming performance. I’ve tested it on several high-end games, and the gameplay is incredibly smooth without any lag or stuttering. offering a high-quality display and seamless operation even during intense gaming sessions. and The 16.1" FHD IPS display is very nice. The thin-bezel design maximizes screen space, giving me an immersive Full HD viewing experience. The colors are vibrant, and the clarity is crisp, making it perfect for gaming and media consumption. The backlit keyboard adds to the overall gaming vibe and makes typing or gaming in low-light conditions much easier. The numeric keypad is also a nice touch for productivity tasks.     • Killer budget laptop for work but limited w/ light gaming
I got this on a huge sale for $499, which included a $100 discount coupon. At that price, this laptop is excellent for work-related tasks. However, it's not ideal for gaming. You can run casual 3D games like Disney Dreamlight Valley at medium to very low settings, achieving 40-43 FPS with some frame drops. The camera is decent, but the speakers are quite poor. I'm giving it barely 4 stars for its performance and 16GB RAM, which are great for work-related operations. Overall, it's a good deal for a $499 laptop, but I wouldn't pay more than that. ... show more

Recently got this laptop and it’s been performing well for school work and everyday use. Some of the good features: - For a 15 inch laptop, it’s slim and lightweight. I can easily pick it up with one hand and move around. - it has a Ryzen 7 processor and 16GB RAM. It can handle multiple apps at once. And the RAM can be upgraded if needed. - my favorite part is USB-C Charging. I can use the same charger for my laptop, phone, and iPad. No need to carry multiple chargers. - It has USB-C and HDMI ports. - it comes with Windows 11 Pro and not home edition. - large touchpad. Features I wish it had: - it doesn’t have USB4 or thunderbolt. Its a good laptop for everyday use. You can watch videos and have other apps running. BUT it’s not the a gaming laptop (like being advertised). You may be able to run some games with very low settings, it’ll not be able to handle high end games.     • Mallrace = Malware
If you want a cheap toaster that has no dedicated GPU but is advertised as a "gaming laptop" and is absolutely chocked full of malware then buy this. My favorite (among many) is the default search in new tab (even in Chrome) is Yahoo. It's not even Yahoo, it's a blank page with a small jpg of Yahoo in the corner. No matter your browser it claims you have "compromised" passwords and urges you to fix them. I managed to fix this issue but after about an hour of annoying settings searches and deleting this and that. This should not be the default on a brand new system nor should it have the abilty to manipulate programs installed AFTER initial setup. This toaster also puts up an Avast add you can't kill or minimize about every 15min. DO NOT BUY THIS! I will also be logging a complaint with Amazon about this company as well as searching out other legal remedies. ... show more
