It was cute, it did the job. The top was bent but we made it work. You’ll need to put glue dots on the top so it doesn’t open when they pull the money out. Overall it nice item.

We were invited to a co-workers graduation party for their oldest child who we didn't know very well. It is so hard to select a gift for someone like that, but we did want to give her something useful. This graduation money box was perfect as it not only looks great, but is their school color as well! Assembly was very easy and took only minutes. We then filled the money slots with $5 bills, and attached the tassel at the end. We removed a few of the sections, so that the gift amount was customized. The media could not be loaded. This is such a fun way to give a grad a gift and didn’t disappoint. I chose this set not only b/c it was a grad cap versus just a basic box but b/c of the simplicity of just sliding in the bills versus having to seal each one and then attach them together. I was concerned the bills would fall out but that turned out not to be an issue at all. I like the brads used to attach all together versus just tape. Nice touch! TIP WHEN ASSEMBLING: add sticky dots or double sided tape (or the like) so the lid stays closed.. For under $14, you get three of these sets! Basic, bland cards nowadays costs $6+ so this is really a good deal. I did deduct a start for the shrink wrapping and how it is packaged did warp some of it.
