    • Don't buy birdhouses w/o doing your own research!

Toy or scam not real birdhouses!!! First I never leave reviews unless it was 5 star worthy but I'm about to be one of those people. If I could give these zero stars I would!!! I don't know what idiot thought it was a good idea to take birdhouses, that go outside, and glue them together with water soluble glue. Out of the 3 only 1 stayed in one piece past the first light rainstorm. It's a good thing no birds moved in as any eggs would have been broken in the fall as the top was all that was left hanging on the tree. Second these may be cute at first but no birds will live in it. Turns out they're the complete wrong design for the hummingbirds it's advertised as being for. Worst yet is the whole is too small for a small wren or finch so the only residents that might move in are spiders and bees. Lastly it turns out that hummingbirds prefer to make their own cup shaped nests with the top open. Just plant a bunch of plants that hummingbirds like and they'll move in on their own. They should not be listed as Hummingbird Houses due to the fact Hummingbirds are not cavity feeders. I thought they would look good in my Deodar Cedar Trees. Maybe they would attract some finches. Hung them on June 19th and they lasted less than 6 weeks.
