I've been a long time user of this product and over the years have bought several of these to have as backups. When my wife and I travel in our van she wears the clip-on mic so that we can carry on a normal conversation. When watching TV I place the remote mic near the speakers. If I need to talk to my wife its a simple matter of pressing the mode button to talk to her on the neckband mic. When I saw that a new 2023 model was available I immediately ordered one. The neckband is a better quality (although I've never had a problem with the older model) and the audio is slightly better when watching TV, although it's a little more tinny. That being said, this new model is no longer Senior friendly. I like the bigger buttons on the older model, and that there were only 3 buttons. This new model has more buttons that are very small and hard to use by touch. The smaller mode button is next to the mic, and makes scraping noise as I feel around for the now tiny mode button. Other changes are that the controls have been switched from the left side of the neckband to the right side, and the positions of the +/- volume controls have been reversed, making it more confusing when using this newer model. There is now a separate on-off switch that is also very tiny, and has to be slid instead of pressed, making this product much harder now for older persons to use. If you're an older person, as I am, consider buying the old cheaper model that is still available. ... show more

I have a severe hearing loss. I use high-end hearing aids for most situations. However, when working outside mowing, etc. I don’t want to subject them to swear and dust. I bought these heating amplifiers for that purpose. They work fine. Not as much volume as the more expensive aids but they are fine for outdoor work. These work great. I bought for my mom who I was only able to talk to by using my phone to write out what I wanted to say. I have a loud voice and I can project my voice. So no matter how loud or how slow I spoke, my mom could hear me unless I was talking in her ear. With these hearing aids, she can listen to regular conversations. ... show more

I like this product. It's very easy to use, light and effective. But for my hearing range it was too tinny sounding. I couldn't figure out how to adjust the balance for base and treble....if there even is an adjustment. The buttons for volume, off and on are too small for me, which frustrated my use. the thing I found is that if you use the headset alone and turn it up so you can hear say the tv then the speaker does not isolate other subliminal sounds such as noises created by you movements or clothes etc. the other issue was that the sound to me was tinny or mechanical, not a full sound.

Many old people have hearing problems and often vision and manual dexterity problems. The NW10 model was better at addressing these issue. This « improved » model gives up easy bold controls for fashionable concealment and an awkward interface. Apparently the one fain is being able to adjust each earpiece independently. ... show more
