  • help hearing better with affordable price.
The media could not be loaded. I have some mild hearing loss after drumming for years and so I wanted a way to hear my television or music and so I bought a pair of these hearing aids to see if it would help. I must say that it does more than I expected as I can now hear every word and sound clear when I am watching a movie or listening to my favorite music. It also has settings to switch between various options for the best results based on what I am listening to. It also functions like a Bluetooth ear device and so I can connect it via Bluetooth to my phone and make or answer calls. I can also reject calls as needed by pressing on the ear bud a certain way. It is easily rechargeable and lasts up to around 7 hours. It has no feedback when I use it and fits comfortably in my ears without falling out. ... show more

  • I Sent Them Back, They Are Hearing Amplifiers, Wouldn't stay in my Ears
These are hearing amplifiers not hearing aids which means they make all sound louder not just the frequency of your particular hearing loss. Other than continually falling out of my ears, they did work for listening to TV and one on one conversations w/ no background noise. They'll make ya crazy in a room w/ lots of people/noise. The blue tooth worked as expected. I thought the touch feature to adjust volume would have been cool but every time I insert them or tried press them back in my ears it changed the volume, very tedious and aggravating. I was most displeased w/ the fact that instead of my refund going back to my CC I received Amazon credit. ... show more

  • Hard to use for seniors
I've been looking for hearing aids for an aging relative that isn't quite old enough to want to be seen wearing hearing aids, but is starting to need them. These seemed like an awesome choices since they are white and look like AirPods. However, there are several things that make these problematic that I didn't think of. They need to be connected to your smartphone to fine tune them, and even the basic initial volume set up is not intuitive and requires instructions. This is not the recipe for success with older generations that are not exactly tech savvy. That alone is a dealbreaker, as I cannot be there all the time to help fix and adjust these things. When it comes to performance, they are decent... but like all hearing devices in this price range, you have the problem of them amplifying everything, and I mean everything. This can be annoying and frustrating for the wearer, but is the compromise you have to accept as "you get what you pay for". ... show more

  • Not For Everyone
All my life I've had minor sinus related comb-filtering and tinnitus. Now as I'm getting older, add in normal high frequency loss and "What?" "Huh?" and "Could you please repeat that?" come out of my yap more than anything else. So I wasn't expecting miracles from a non prescription pair of hearing aids. But these didn't do anything to help. They probably would in cases of just the normal age related loss, but that's something that I can't evaluate. However, what I CAN evaluate is why I only gave it 3*. First, the instructions. Lots of information and usage precautions, and for a change, not written in Tiny. But nothing on how to pair with your phone. For my age, I'm pretty tech-savvy, but when you have to start that sentence with that caveat, there may be trouble ahead. I wasn't ever able to pair them with my phone, and I doubt too many people in the target market wouldn't need help. I guess they expect everyone to have a son-in-law who is in IT? Even worse, even after charging overnight, the indicators were flashing blue. Which is a low battery indication, unless that doubles as a looking for blue tooth indicator. (Or a typo... wouldn't be the first time.) The single touch sensor controls things like volume and power, but for volume adjustment, it says for stepping through the 7 levels, it's a single press. To go instantly to max volume it's a single press. To go to minimum volume, it's a single press. To go to the middle volume it's... you guessed it, a single press, with the added note "the beeps of the middle five gears are the same." I'm at the point where I probably should have hearing aids, but quite frankly, can't afford them. I was hoping that these would help enough to postpone that a little longer, even if not a perfect solution. I'll keep trying to figure out how to pair them, maybe I'll get lucky. ... show more
