  • Awesome machine for the money!
Best value for the features by far. I've only ran the machine on 110 volt as of now but have been thoroughly impressed. I weld by profession and this is definitely I great machine for the money. It runs 3/32 6011 and 7018 on 110 all day with no issue. No overload shutdown or popped breakers. Have not used the tig function yet but plan to soon. If you are looking for a good portable machine that won't take up much space, or a beginner trying to get into welding this could be the machine for you. This is a great machine for a third the price of blue or red, the digital is interface is simple but the display can be somewhat difficult to see in the sunlight. I will update the review as I use the machine more. ... show more

  • Unbelievable value
I work weld stainless steel sheet metal for a living. My shop uses Miller MaxStars with CK Worldwide flex torches. I can attest that this machine produces comparable welds on 20, 18, 16, and 14 gauge stainless steel. The Miller set up at work costs around $3500 and does not include a foot switch or pulse feature. The Millers are very durable I only have about 50 to 60 hours on the Everlast machine, but its working quite well. I think artists, car and motorcycle enthusiasts and small shops will be very impressed with the value of this machine ... show more

  • Quality machine for the dollar
Awesome features for the price! To all those people whining about performance at 110vac...relax. If you really wanna produce decent welds, no matter the machine, gotta run 220. Period. If you wanna try pulse on a beginner level machine you really can’t do better than this. Get a pedal from Everlast and go for it. I’ve been using this for a little over 15 months DAILY and I couldn’t be happier with the consistency and performance. Buy quality consumables. Run 220v. BUY A FOOT PEDAL. Weld every day. ... show more

  • Know what power you have coming out the socket in your wall. -most important
Worked great. First time burning rods and I been around welders in my trade . But finally jumped and said I have to at least learn how to tack for emergencies. So yes worth it. I haven’t tried tig yet. The stick function was awesome . I was welding small parts with stick . A metric 3/8” -24 thread bolt and nut to a coupling nut. Reason it was near impossible to find the right part even at specialty stores. Had to figure out the heat and what setting to use. It wasn’t to bad . And it looks like all my green welders got drunk and seated welding (how my welds came out) but they hold and that’s all that matters. Ashamed of the welds not the effort. I recommend learning the skill and this welder. ... show more

  • Its good
I would by again. I have a lincoln power mig 210mp and prefer to use the powerarc for stick and tig applications. I find the arc is smoother and I have 6010 rod capability. Portability is great. Accessories are very good and are a great start to building tig skills. Different tig functions to choose from widens the units capability and the users capabilities as a tig welder. 2T, 4T, and optional pedal control are push button options. Along with high frequency start, lift start and live lift arc starting functions are push button options as well. All of the contents fit in the case and the case is about the size of a home VHS video camera case from the 90s ... show more
