I would give TEN STARS if I could!! This refurbished laptop is in pristine condition both operationally and cosmetically. No nicks or scratches. It runs FAST and has an incredible battery life. It was delivered timely and well packaged with signature required (which I appreciate because nobody wants to have anything that valuable left outside their front door). PLUS……. after I transferred everything from my old MacBook to this one, I had a small issue with the charging cable staying connected. I messaged the seller and the customer service I received was INCREDIBLE. They went above and beyond to make sure my “new” laptop was fully functioning. I've had my computer a few months and everything seemed fine, then it stopped charging out of nowhere. I tried a new charger, no luck. After a diagnostic and attempted fix of a bad charging port, I was told the connection of the port to the logic board was corrupted and essentially not able to be fixed. Missed my return window by a month and now I have a dead computer. I would urge people to stay away from anyone who doesn't offer some sort of refurbished warranty. ... show more

Not bad! Read previous reviews and decided to take a chance knowing I could do a free return if unsatisfied. Pros: -Original box and charger (140 watt MagSafe) - Chassis needed a light wipe but otherwise in perfect condition - Display also immaculate and the speakers are outstanding - Keyboard and trackpad in perfect working order - Not that heavy! I've had several bulky Dell/HP laptops and this little guy feels light and thin in comparison! Fits into my backpack and messenger back perfectly, and I carry it around the office all day. Though probably not ideal if you're a student walking around campus all day. Cons: - Packaging not ideal for a $1600 laptop - Battery shipped with a 31 cycle count and (93% capacity). Not as mint as others I've seen reviewed but I don't want to risk returning this unit and getting something even more worn. I'll be keeping this for 5-7 years so I'll gladly do a battery replacement down the road. All in all, M1 Pro chip performance is outstanding and the display real estate is amazing. I carry this guy all around the house no problem. Plus there's a 3 month return window so I can really put it through its paces and see how it holds up. I was a little hesitant when I ordered this M1 MacBook Pro 16inch, especially since the description mentioned “some cosmetic wear.” When it arrived, there were a few noticeable dents and scratches, but honestly, they don’t bother me at all, especially considering what I actually received. I originally ordered the 16GB RAM / 1TB SSD model, but to my surprise, it came with 32GB RAM and a 2TB SSD! That alone made this purchase beyond worth it. On top of that, the battery was still at 92% health, and to my amazement, it still had active AppleCare coverage. Performance-wise, this thing is an absolute beast. The M1 chip handles everything I throw at it effortlessly! Whether it’s video editing, music production, or heavy multitasking. Even with the cosmetic imperfections, this is easily the best deal I’ve ever gotten on a laptop. If you’re on the fence about buying a used one, don’t hesitate!
