  • Great small form factor welder with great support
This review is for the iMig 200e. This is a great welder which provides full 200amp power for Cored and Flux Cored welding. I purchased this welder for Flux Cored usage. It welds perfectly everything that it is rated for and that I have used it on. I purchased this welder in April 29, 2020 and on July 1, 2020 in the middle of a project I got a Current light. The welder stopped working and I could not get it to respond after going through all the troubleshooting procedures. I called Everlast and left a message and within five minutes I received a call from tech support about the problem. The very knowledgeable person at Everlast asked me three questions: 1 What voltage was the welder running on. 2 Did it fail on startup. 3. When did I purchase the welder. He asked me to send an email with the serial number, a copy of my purchase invoice, my name, phone number and address. He offered to replace the welder or send me a new updated side board which I could install. I asked him which would be best and he said he could get a board to me in one week and it would be an upgraded part so I asked him to send the board. I received my board in exactly one week, installed it and viola the problem is fixed. Thank you Everlast. I have several Everlast products and each one has been very good. I would purchase another Everlast product in a heartbeat. There are no perfect products or companies but you can tell a great company if when something goes wrong they fix it promptly. That describes Everlast to a tee. Thanks. ... show more

  • Well built welder
I don’t weld for a living. I have been around a few machines. Hobart, Lincoln, Miller. This machine here is a pretty well matched competitor. I don’t know all of the tech lingo but basically it puts down a smooth bead and feels very sturdy.

  • Everlast customer service is great!
Everlast customer service is awesome, I had a few issues and they resolved them all. Now the welder itself is exactly what I needed so it gets five stars but i was surprised with the 4 foot ground cable which I replaced with a beefier 8 foot/300amp clamp. Also this welder does not come with the flux core roller and is extra from everlast, it should read in the description mig only/no flux core roller included. Lastly mig gun feels cheap but works well so far(five projects down). The pros are it’s very easy to use and the display is awesome! Makes this welder absolutely worth it for the price I paid, 120/240v capable is great but 240v is the way to go. If this welder lasts five years it was well worth it. Would absolutely reccomend. ... show more

  • buyer beware
i havent used this welder yet but its NOT MADE IN CANADA AND THERE IS NO FIVE YEAR WARRENTY the instruction book says generally a year QUALITY GUARANTEE phone numbers dont appear anywhere i hope this thing works i could have bought chinese inverters anywhere live and learn over and over update after fighting this welder for 2 years on 120 volt i havent got even 1 inch of suitible bead out of it i put it on the shelf because it was worthless unless you just want splatter . today i ran a dedicated 220 volt line for it to be sure it wasnt just low voltage and it doesnt even turn on with 220 volt yes the outlet works this is the biggest waste of money i ever made . i should have just bought a ------ right away update took it apart it has a broken main circuit board i should have just sent it back when it didnt work from new now its a boat anchor and im out 600$ ... show more

  • So far a great mig welder
I’ve been hearing a lot of hype about Everlast and when I was looking into buying a welder for personal use I decided to try this new dual voltage mig . I chose the dual voltage because I might need to use the welder remotely and 110v is more common on generators.first Impressions ? Welder looks awesome (love the green) , the screen is bright and easy to read. Controls knobs work as you would expect them too, no weird glitching . The settings are fairly accurate . The presets like most welders are on the hot side but it gives you a small range to work within the factory setting for certain thickness metals . Overall very pleased. Now why the 4 star? Like anything it could use some improvements , my first issue setting it up is the gas hose comes out the back basically in the middle . So if you’re like me and run a 125 cu ft bottle it hits the gas line when you run a , what I consider normal welding cart for this size welder . My solution is hang the welder off the front a little and push the bottle into the corner as far as it can go so it doesn’t pinch the hose. A 90 out of the welder or moving the fitting over a few inches would be great. The other issue and why I knocked off a star is the welding gun feels very cheap and it needs a little more angle . Every other “name brand” mig gun I’ve welded with has more angle to the gun. I might be able to bend it a little with a tube bender to solve this though. Other than that , it’s a winner , hard to beat in the price range . Big name brand welders have sky rocketed in price and just aren’t worth it unless it makes you money everyday. I wouldn’t hesitate to give this welder or any Everlast a go! I will be trying out their tig welder next ! ... show more

  • Impressive welder!
I am a career welder/fabricator. Have used most brands in my 10 years welding… happy to say this machine will lay beads right there with any Miller or Lincoln machine, and at a 1/4 of the price! Would recommend to any of my fabricator friends. My only gripe is the ground length is far too short. But easy fix. Have yet to try the stick weld settings, but if the mig is any sign of quality I'm sure it will run a great bead. UPDATE- This welder has performed at every turn. No issues with it whatsoever. Will be purchasing their TIG model soon. Highly Highly recommend you save your money and buy Everlast.. This brand has my business! ... show more

  • Great little mig welder, No issues at all
This little Everlast welder works great for the hobbiest/small shop folks. Compact and portable, I run mine on CO2 , does everything I need it for, granted it's not red or blue but it works for a lower price if your just starting out!
