The pants themselves seem fine, but the pair I got ran bigger than the size I asked for (I ordered a 32, they say 32, but they fit more like a 34)... The hip protectors on my pants fit way low and the knees are quite big so if I got into a twist, the knee pads would be of no use after being pulled or pushed around my leg. The biggest con for me and what I just learned tonight... is the smell doesn't go away.. The pants had a bad smell when I received them (I've received pants with a similar smell before but those went away after a day or two after being aired out. These did not. Worse part, I washed them to see if that would help... made all, and I mean ALL of my clothes smell almost as bad... additional update, tried washing my shirts again separately… no good. They still smell so bad… As of right now, I do not recommend and I plan to return... ... show more

I really think the quality of these jeans is fine. There's a lot of mesh which should be great for riding in South Florida, where I live. The knee pads and hip protectors fit nicely, too. However, I'm just over 6' tall and 155 pounds. My regular pants would be 32X32, with the waist being just a wee bit generous and the length being just long enough. I ordered 32 in these jeans, and the waist was too big (like a 34). Not a deal breaker, but the length is also a little short. I could wear them, but they're just not quite right for me. If I were one inch bigger in the waist, and one inch shorter in my inseam, I'd have kept these and been happy with them. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. it's not if, it's when. my turn. went down today on asphalt hitting some gravel coming from the local observatory. these did great and the protectors did their job. i slid out mid turn and expected to see these ripped or torn or something. these held up perfectly and the armor did it's job. not a scratch on me and pants are totally in tact. gonna order another set in the better sizing. I purchased a second pair(black) at a size smaller after purchasing a size 34 last year of the blue. Normally I wear size 34 waist in jeans, I prefer loose fit however I don’t like the extra material in the waistline when using a belt , the smaller size fit more snug without the extra waistline material. I’m 6’,177lbs I look forward to ordering another pair however I’ll downsize from the size 34 to avoid the waist line material when using a belt. ... show more

I bought these pants to attempt to have the comfortability of jeans and the proper protection while riding my motorcycle. I purchased the black pair of jeans, and they are comfortable, breathable, and come with padding in the right places. The sizing was a bit off, but not a major concern for me. I am 5’11, 145 lbs and usually wear a 30/32 or 30/34. I ordered a 32 and they are a little big, but they fit fine with a belt, and this will provide room for shirts or pants underneath when the winter months come. As a nice plus, the pants also look stylish as well. Would buy again, and plan to purchase the blue pair later on. ... show more
