I use injora on all my 1/24 scale crawlers. They make some great products. I picked up this kit for my TRX4M. Installed and had an issue where as I gave it throttle it would go then the motor would stop at a certain point and if you kept giving it throttle it would kick in again. I removed the transmission cover and hooked it all up had no issue. So it was with the cover or something. So I took a video of it doing it's thing and contacted customer service. I gave them all the info and the video. The next day they contacted me and they're sending me a new kit. I have had to contact their customer service before and they were great and got me taken care of. ... show more

This is my first motor swap, so bare with me I’m also very new too the Hobby of RC crawlers but I have swapped out everything on the trx -4m series. This is against a stock Traxxas trx4-m motor Pro’s- quiet, very strong will hold on down ramps, Smaller, esc is inter grated with motor and easy on off dip switch leave your settings on 7.4 or look at your battery for recommendations about 6.0 or 7.4 The speed varies through software I couldn’t get just right but adjustable through the controller Not for the technological challenge This took some time finding a Microsoft computer and one that is up to date So install was easy plug in and play Programming 1/5 stars (Needs Microsoft computer) Check your pinion gear too I hear of chunky gears the pinion locker goes on closest side to the motor found that out (the pinion locker will line up with the actual face of the gears and cause it to run off track) ... show more

When it works it is sweet!! But it will randomly shut down and just freeze and won’t do anything then start right back up like nothing happened.

Was broken at delivery. Motor dorsn’t Word and chip for adjusting ESC was broken. Still waiting for replacement.

    • Pinion gear is to long

I see other reviews with the same issue. The pinion gear is to long and rubs other gears in the transmission. It needs shims or something. I've reached out to Injora support they have sent a second motor and transmission and it has the exact same issue. This needs to come with shims or something.
