    • Budget welder but welds good
Bought this to compliment my Azzuno. There is definitely a big difference in quality and features. The leads are garbage and will replace with heavy duty ones. The mig gun is standard issue. The panels on it are nicely fitted and I think powder coated. It fits the 10 lb spool of wire. The wire feeder motor is very loud compared to the Azzuno that is smooth. I've tried to adjust voltage on flux core but I don't think it allows you to just amperage so the voltage knob is useless. It migs and flux cores pretty good with a nice duty cycle. It will not run 6010 rods but runs 6011 1/8 pretty good. Lays a good bead.it runs 7018 great. I bought this to keep from switching out drive rollers and wire when I needed to switch to a different size .it's a pretty good welder for the price but it is a dollar store version of my Azzuno. Update: I contacted Femoral support about the voltage knob. I didn't know if mine was defective or not. I was quickly contacted by Lily who explained that the welder is designed that way. You can adjust the knob it just won't show on the screen. It does work it's just something you have to tune while welding. They even sent me a homemade amperage chart with recommend settings which was nice. The customer support is outstanding. ... show more

Complete fail right out of the box!! Can’t even connect the gas line to a regulator because all you get is a Fischer Price quality plastic hose along with two hose clamps. This doesn’t even match what is in the directions, which indicates that it should come with a fitting attached to one end for the regulator connection. I have no idea what to even do from this point. I don’t even think they sell brass fittings that would allow me to hose clamp to it. Ridiculous!!!!!! Very convenient how they don’t include any photos of the back of the welder prior to buying it. ... show more

Have never welded before. I hoped that this would be a great start for getting started welding on a causal level. But really it’s better for someone who already has experience. I’m probably going to have to take a class. Overall the tool seems very good but I’ll have to put some more time into it and update my review in the future ! ... show more
