The product itself does what it says it can, but the included 18in 4 AWG (not 4/0 AWG) wire is not sufficient for a 3000 watt inverter. I ended up going to Harbor Freight and buying 3' 2/0 AWG, which is sufficient at a minimum. After installing this into my SUV with my own wiring, the product itself performs very well and does not get hot. The features on the display screen are a nice touch. I didn't mark it down any stars for the wiring because there was a $50 coupon, and the wiring was $40. Plus, the price aside from the coupon is pretty stellar compared to local stores and other online retailers. It's only meant for emergency use in my case (i.e., power outages), but after testing it today, it never went over 1000w with my window A/C, Fridge, and workstation items connected. The unit operated properly for only ten minutes before the output went completely dead. The load was only a 50 watt light bulb, should be easy for a 2000 watt inverter. I contacted TopBull who suggested that I change to a higher wattage load. I did, still no power output. I returned the email, noting the output display showed "voltage out = 0 volts", and "wattage out = 0 watts". My initial contact was 9/19/2024, today is 9/26/2024. Only one response from TopBull in seven days. TopBull literature and operation manual state "satisfactory solution within 24 hours". I'm still waiting... ... show more

I got this 200w inverter to run my laptop and charge a small vacuum or my hobby RC car batteries while on the road. So far it handles all three items without overheating. The inverter has a little fan noise, but if you put it by your feet you hardly notice it. The outer shell is a mixture of metal and plastic. It doesn't feel like the best quality, but seems pretty solid to me. The cable is sufficiently long to connect and put in the passenger foot area of my SUV. I didn't observe any beeping or odd sounds/smells while the inverter was in use. The charger I use for the RC car batteries actually gets very hot, but this inverter stays cool to the touch while running. I've included a picture to use for comparison purposes. I would recommend this to anyone looking to power/charge items that require a bit more juice than the traditional cigarette lighter can provide on it's own. ... show more

This inverter has design issues that forced me to return it, and in emergency situations, it sometimes wouldn't turn on. I had to turn the switch off and on to get it to work again. I now have serious doubts about the reliability and durability of this little device, and I would not recommend this inverter. ... show more
