Just tested the new Nakto 20" bike. Pros: not expensive, nice comfortable ride on a horizontal/low incline, easy to turn/maneuver Assembly requires some patience, but not too bad. Definitely get some tools of your own. The wrench that comes with it is small. The provided screwdriver is cute, but does not do the job. Use 10mm and 8 mm wrench/socket wrench. Be prepared to adjust brakes. Nothing extraordinary, really, but If you are worried about your mechanics skills consider letting your local bike shop assemble it for you. Charger that came with the bike heats quite a bit, but not too bad. The factory settings are for a dual mode --- power assist pedal/e-throttle. Default settings are for a powerful push -- be careful when trying for the first time. To change the settings you need to get to the options on the LED controller. The user manual that came with the bike does not explain it. Some options can be found on the manufacture's webpage https://www.e-bikes.com/pages/nakto-ebikes-lcd-control-panel-instruction . For my controller, not all of them work. However, one can lower responsiveness and power by playing with options P11 and P12. Also, there is no way to turn PAS off from main screen --- one has to go change option P10. Also check out P8 -- the speed limit (does not work on mine). Cons: would appreciate a more powerful motor -- slow on moderate hills, did not try on a steep hill. Would appreciate speed limit option that works. Would appreciate a comfier/wider seat --- this bicycle is not designed for pedaling, but for sitting upright --- the seat that came with it makes a long ride difficult. The front wheel came with a slight bend -- will have to fix it. ... show more

The bike is cute my daughter loves it. But she already fell from it and hurt herself. The pedal assist speed is too high/fast. Is there a setting how to lower the speed or turn it off to regular pedal and use only throttle ? The manual that came ‘with the bike is not specific about the installation. I had to go on you tube to assemble some of the parts. Also where can I obtain a manual for the different settings on the LED screen / speed settings? I need to see what those settings are. It falls apart quickly, check all parts consistently to tighten. Does NOT last even 10 miles on a full charge. Tires are slick and there is no suspension. I had to customize mine to ride safely. The brake pads included aren't even for an e-bike they are for a regular bicycle. Does pick up speed well though? ... show more

Took three days and four e-mails to find Vin # They were timely in their reply but instructions on where to find Vin were not clear. The bike was a little smaller than expected, but seems pretty sturdy. Love the color. FYI Vin located on yoke under the front basket mounting

Wow! I was pleasantly surprised how well this bike rides. I attached a kids carrier to it and didn’t even feel a difference pulling my kids in it. My kids are 7 and 3 and the bike did awesome with the extra weight. I’m 160lbs plus the carrier and kiddos.
