Very smooth ride on this bike. Assembly was a pain a little not going to lie but make sure you take your time and tighten everything correctly. The ride is great. It is pretty comfortable. Not the most comfortable thing in the world but it works good. The speed is about 30.6mph top speed with full throttle. The pedal assist is good I just wish it had a cruise control function like my other ebike so you donโ€™t always have to hold down the throttle. I would definitely purchase again if I had the choice. My daughter loves riding on the bike. Wish it had arm rests for her though that would have been nice. She is 8 and pretty tall for her age and she fits back there comfortably and she really enjoys it. It has a little bar where she can hold onto. It works just enough. The headlight is not that great so I put an aftermarket headlight to brighten it up on night rides. So far I have put 60 miles on it and it runs like itโ€™s on the first mile brand new. The battery is kind of a pain to take off so I just leave it on when Iโ€™m charging it. I still have yet to take it on a long ride to see the actual range on it but I plan on doing that soon. I purchased this for my wife so she and our 6 year old can go on rides together. The construction process was fairly easy and the end result is excellent. I will say, it is very heavy and you have to have your wits about you as you move it around (when not riding). So far the battery life has been great, the speed and smoothness of the ride is great, the seats (rider and passenger) are very comfortable. Our daughter loves how fast it can go! This bike is my first e-bike and it exceeded my expectation. It is very fun and easy to ride. The rear seat is a plus if you plan to ride with a passenger. Itโ€™s pretty easy to balance when riding with a passenger and the backrest makes it comfortable. The bike is fast and it gets to 30mph no problem with 1 or 2 persons on it. The seats are some what comfortable but long rides and make your bottom sore so I bought Some memory foam for the rear seat because thatโ€™s the least comfortable. The basket seems solid but has openings in the corners so I put bungee cords to close off the corners. It came with a phone holder which has had no issues and works well for my iPhone 12 mini. Installation was fairly easy although the pictures on the instructions were difficult to understand and the bike seems really well constructed. Really the only negative I have so far which is why I gave it 4 stars is the breaks screech like crazy so Iโ€™ll have to find a solution for that. With 40 miles on it so far its held up great and only time will tell if this bike will last. Iโ€™m 5โ€™6โ€ 155lb and have no problem putting my leg down to reach the ground. Me and my passenger are well under the max weight limit of the bike. ... show more

This a a really cool e-bike. It is my first e-bike purchase. Assembly was relatively easy. The instructions and link to the video for assembly showed different parts on the bike that were not the same as the bike I received. If you have put together a bike before though, you should be able to put this together. I had a broken part on the bike and messaged the seller. They promptly shipped the replacement part. The e-bike is rideable right out of the box. The seat was uncomfortable and I ended up upgrading the seat. I also removed the rear seat padding and purchased a more robust kids seat. I rode about 15 miles and had to adjust the brakes and tighten some handlebar bolts, but other than that it has been a blast to own so far. I am 6โ€™3โ€ and I fit comfortably on the bike. I get a ton of compliments on my set up. With my daughter on the back seat riding with me we can still get up to about 28mph in full while mode. All in all a great bike for the price and I will probably purchase another Ridstar e-bike. ... show more

I received this bike over a week ago, both seats have issues. The front seat has multiple tears and the back seat has a burn mark. Upon putting the bike together and charging the battery, the unit will not turn on. I contacted the seller and it took multiple days and several conversations with customer service for them to get back to me. They offered me $50 off for the seats but told me I needed to take it to a bike shop to have repaired and they will reimburse. Honestly, I don't want to spend any money out of pocket on a defective item. Now, I was told I could send back and then get reimbursed for shipping. I am still working with Amazon and the seller to resolve. Buyer beware! ... show more

It is heavy to load and unload into back of truck. So much fun. My friend rode mine and said it makes all the difference having the 2 shocks. Out camping and riding on fire roads. Definitely glad I have it. My Grandson loves riding on the rear seat!!
