this unit is ok for small things like trim molding and heaters or fences. Its not suitable for Full size walls you will take more time using this then using a roller and brush. over all though it works well and functions how it should and if smaller objects is what you are after that need paint then give this sprayer a try. ... show more

Wow, two for the price of one! Used one to paint a fence and it worked great. Very little 'overspray', but an old tarp took care of that. As I was using a water-based paint, the cleanup was fairly easy (run a couple of container full of plain water through - spray into an empty buck), then take apart and wipe dry.. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I believe this to be a really good paint sprayer. I used it with wood paint, and it seems to work as expected. • The spray area is relatively wide. As soon as the paint leaves the nozzle, it spreads rather than focusing the spray. This allows the paint to be evenly distributed, which helps avoid paint drips. I have uploaded a video showing the spread of the paint. • I like that a good amount of paint can be placed inside the container, reducing the number of times one needs to refill it in order to complete the job. • It is also lightweight, which helps reduce the fatigue of using it for a long time. This also aids in maintaining a constant workflow, reducing the time needed to complete the job and saving time. • The trigger can be adjusted so that one can control how much pressure is applied to release the paint. • One thing I didn't like much was how loud it was. I believe it is fairly normal for paint sprayers to be somewhat loud, but I didn't expect it to be this loud. Aside from the noise, I believe this paint sprayer to be really good. It releases an even spray, has a relatively large paint container, is lightweight, and has an adjustable trigger. I believe this paint sprayer to be a good investment. ... show more

This can be great for goof proof jobs. Such as staining your deck or fence. It can be great for cleaning used auto paints as well or repainting your outdoor patio and furniture. Overall, recommended for small jobs.

The media could not be loaded. We are coming to the end of lease in the apartment we rent and it states that the walls need to be repainted white before we move out. As we are uncertain if we are going to renew, I wanted to get the walls done just in case. I ordered the HVLP Spray Gun 2 pack so I didn't have to waste a lot of time doing the painting by hand. Unfortunately, I need to do a large amount of sheetrock patching before I can actually paint. As such, I took the guns out to test with some water for now. First off, this thing is LOUD! You can hear it in my video and I would say that it is just as loud as my old shop vac was. I have never owned powered paint spray guns so I am not sure it is the norm, but don't expect to have a conversation while you are using them. As soon as you turn them on, the motor kicks in and starts blowing a strong blast of air. It doesn't spray the paint until you pull the trigger however. The 800 watt motor really gets some force behind the spray. The other thing I noticed is that the motor and nozzle started to heat up very quickly. I tested it for about 2 min and it was pretty warm when I turned it off and took a while to cool down. I don't believe it is going to be an issue and that it is just due to the large size of the motor. The sprayer gives a nice size spray when in use. I held my hand about a foot in front of the nozzle and the spray was 2 inches wide so I am sure it is going to give a nice amount of coverage when held a few feet away from the surface to be painted. The nozzle manually turns 360 degrees and the collar around it has 2 markings, a circle and an oval shape alternating one then the other . The circle is clearly for a circular spray pattern. The ovals are for the vertical and horizontal spray patterns, the problem is that there's no way to tell which pattern you are set for since all the ovals are horizontal on the collar. It would have been better if one was horizontal and one was vertical to take the hit or miss out of choosing your pattern. The collar also unscrews allowing you to remove the nozzle for cleaning. The paint tank is a good size and holds 500 ml (about 17 ounces) of paint and is flat on the bottom. The suction pipe that goes into the tank is angled so that it will only touch the edges though. It also leaves a gap of about 1/8 of an inch from the bottom so you are never going to be able to get all of the paint to spray. Here I wish that the tank had bottom that angled from the sides to a point in the center and that the tube went straight down into that depression so all of the paint was captured for use. There is a cleaning brush included as well as a viscosity cup. If you use a paper filter (not included) to filter out the impurities in the paint, this cup will allow you to pour the paint in slowly to avoid overfilling the paper filter and making a mess. Overall, I think this is a decent sprayer for smaller, do it yourself projects. It will definitely speed up your painting vs. doing it by hand. Yes, there could be some design changes, but for non-professional jobs, this will do just fine. If you are looking for professional results, this is definitely not the right fit but, for $49.99 (the price at the time of this review) you are getting TWO sprayers for less then other manufacturers charge for a single sprayer. ... show more
