We bought these to use on a pantry door and deep freezer. They attached fine to the deep freezer and is still holding up months later. But they did not hold up on the wood on the door and fell off within a week. They are easy to unlock and access quickly enough. The child safety locks were very easy to install. The adhesive is very strong, and there is absolutely no way of coming off. As long as you put the two ends the correct distance apart, the locks fit snuggly, without complications. The locks are easy to use. The key is needed for unlocking and locking the cord back in place. I purchased these to keep my students out of cabinets, and they have worked perfectly! The price was just right, too. I used this product on a fridge to keep my mother, who is elderly and has dementia, out of a fridge that holds medicine. She broke this lock the first night it was installed. The cable that is not supposed to come out, pulled right out of the base. It may work for a 3-year-old, but definitely not for an adult. I set the combination and then tried to open it. It took multiple tries and some number wiggling to get it to open. It was finicky and the numbers had too much play in them to make me feel confident that others would be able to open it with the combination. I feel like this is cheaply made.
