    • Very impressed! Great for 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis
I replaced the stock speakers in my 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis with these. Immediately noticeable difference. Better bass, more midrange & crisper highs. I used the black rings on each speaker (spacer?) Since these spacers wouldn't stay on the speaker & I feared they would rattle. I applied double sided tape to these rings & applied them to the speakers. Think if I have any issues I'll just use a little super glue. Not really sure if I even needed to use them, but I figured why not. Fast forward a little & I added a Kenwood DMX-907S head unit & ditched the stock head unit. Wow did these speakers really come to life! Really impressed with how they sound. I don't feel like I'm missi g out on anything. I'm hearing new things in my music that I've never heard before. The clarity, the mods, even the bass is pretty good. Car shaking bass? NO. Good clean lows that your like, whoa, wasn't expecting that! Yeah I could add a powered subwoofer, but so far I'm happy with the sound. I never turn the radio past. 24, so I can't say how they are when really pushed hard. 24 is loud enough! Excellent value, excellent speakers & the seller shipped quick & the speakers were well protected. An excellent overall experience. ... show more

These 4 way speakers are just what I needed to complete my sound system in my truck. Pioneer makes quality products that have years of experience behind them. The only drawback that I can find is that they are produced in China.

Killer speakers for the price, capable of playing full range sent from stereo but I went ahead and did the high pass filter to 50hz to keep it crisp.
