The SKYOAK Unbreakable Bifocal Reading Sunglasses are a good option for the casual reader, who is looking forward to getting back to perusing periodicals outdoors in the sunshine, as soon as Spring and Summer return. The fit is fine, they are lightweight and comfortable. The earpieces have a good flex factor. The Bifocal magnification is excellent, with the magnifying area is an oblong bubble extending an inch outward from the frame at the nose. It is nicely placed for looking downward at a book or magazine. I found this to be perfect, as you want the magnifying bubble there to read with, but when you walk around, or want to look at anything in a 'normal' view, the magnifying bubble is sufficiently out of the way. I note some saying the exact opposite, and complaining of the mag bubbles as being 'half way up the lens' and 'There is no way to get away from them'....Well, their own product pictures show otherwise. All I can surmise is that their eyes were so drawn to the magnifying bubble area that they could not stop looking through it. I had no such problem. I read a few magazine articles...then the tiny print publishing details...Then I put the magazine away, and went walking down the steps from our deck and around the yard....Not once did I find 'Half (my) vision blurred'. I looked straight ahead, not down into the mag bubble. These are touted as being 'unbreakable', and while I do not plan to intentionally try to break them, I do see the design and materials as being very resistant to the crushing hazard that has ruined many a pair of glasses (y`know--you forgot they were in that pocket until you sat on them?) Overall; I had no trouble that others reported and found these to be a good value. ... show more

The reason I bought these was the key word “unbreakable” as I have purchased other brands that have broken at the bridge of the nose. The other was they advertise 400 UV protection. That being said prior reviews mention the bifocal lens as being too high. Unfortunately I have to agree. Even when you are looking straight ahead you find yourself partially looking through the bifocal. The other brands I have purchased did not have this problem. Sometimes certain product brands just work well for some people and maybe not so well for others. I have several types of SKYOAK readers and all fit and work very well for my eyes. These SKYOAK readers are my go-to wraparound sunglass readers for driving. They came as a 2-pack, and I keep one pair in each car. They have a darker tint than some other sunglass readers that I have. I prefer the darker tint. I have found SKYOAK glasses to be durable, attractive, and true to power. ... show more
