So with the warm weather approaching soon I decided I needed blackout curtains to keep my bedroom cooler in the mornings while I sleep. So my sister suggested tensions rods and I am so glad I listened! These rods although thin, which is what I needed for my window because it already has blinds on it, they’re easily holding up my new blackout curtains. And as some know these curtains are heavier than normal curtains. As you can see no bowing or anything in the middle and no holes I need to fill when I move out! These were super easy to put together and put up. I did it by myself with no help in a matter of minutes! My only complaint is I wish they made a silver color in this product, like a faux brushed nickel. I’m very happy with this product and will definitely recommend to friends and family. ... show more

They do the job. They are not very big. The diameter is small but it is holding a pretty heavy curtain on the inside frame of my window. They are very easy to install. Be careful twisting out to a bigger window because they get very flimsy. These are perfect for a small window but as you get to the longer end of their measurement they flex a lot. ... show more

Perhaps mine are defective. It is NOT possible to get a minimum of 28", the length I need. When completely decompressed, the length is 28.75" and will not compress further, making it unusable as purchased.
