I used to buy the floats with the "holes" closed. Those clear cups at each hole would hold water to cool you down - What a pain to clean those! This one has brilliantly opened the holes and thereby removing my need to be constantly scrubbing them! I love these open holed floats!

Bought two for 2 week Maui trip. Used in the pool and left for others to use, one is still alive and floating. We took two to the beach and had to tow out my son from rocky beach, that one got a hole in it-what do you expect. Well worth the money and fun. I had high hopes. One unit hold the air mostly, the other was DOA as there is a vinyl split. I don't know how to contact the seller. The aesthetics are good, the design is good, the implementation is very poor quality. It's not even worth trying to return. I hope the seller reads this and makes me whole some how.     • "Cooling" holes so your body is in constant contact with the water
Did not like that feature. There're several "cooling" holes on this inflatable, so that you're constantly in contact with the water underneath the float. I suppose it's my own fault for not scrolling all the way in the many bullet points under the item description. Per their photos, it's not very clear that there're actual holes on the mat so you're body is never fully dry when you're laying on these and will always be in contact with the water underneath. Some people might enjoy that, I prefer to have a solid, fully sealed floating device. If you want to lay on it for an extended period of time with a book or so, and the weather is warm but not scorching hot, it starts getting cold and uncomfortable pretty quick. Per the photos, I was under the impression that the "holes" were sealed with clear plastic/vinyl - again, should have paid more attention to the fine print. Since I took it overseas and used it, I can no longer return. Just beware of the holes in case you'd prefer a floating device where your back isn't touching the water as you lay on it. Inflating it is easy enough with a pump. Since I haven'y used it much, I can't speak to durability. ... show more
