I'm an "early adopter" of super-strength mounting tape. I've used 'em all: the big G and the "as seen on TV" A brands, and this tape looks, feels and handles exactly the same. I have just begun to use it, so I can't speak to the longevity of its hold, or how hard or easy it is to remove, but using it to complete an entire day's list of tasks makes me think that I can expect similar performance. Two things give this product the edge over the others, however. 1. It comes on a spool, with side guards. The second most irksome thing about the others is how they stick to everything, including the plastic bags they're stored in! These hubs let you slide them in and out of their storage box without all the hassle. 2. You can actually peel the backing plastic off quickly! I have struggled for endless minutes with the other brands to the point of giving up. A wooden sign my client wanted mounted in her living room went up in seconds. A wandering welcome mat is now firmly secured. But I wanted a truly tough test...and that brought me to my kitchen sink and what I think of as the Water Tape Torture! My sink had two issues: a mystery flange that might've once been the mount for a scrubber system (?), but now is just there, useless. Also, I had no good place to hold my dish scrubber brushes. I got the idea to use an old, plastic tube/box from a popular low-calorie drink mix to hold the brushes and using the unsightly flange as a mounting point, killing two proverbial birds with one stone! How I was going to accomplish this was unclear...until the arrival of the Nano Tape! A quick turn around the flange made my mount nice n' sticky, and an X cut on the bottom of the tube made it possible to push it down onto the flange for a nice, firm grip. And, as you can see by the photo: voila! A day of dishes, water and soap didn't loosen it a bit! Needless to say, at these prices, I won't be buying those other brands anymore. Like a lot of people, when I first used Nano tape, I put a long piece across the top of a picture, and it fell off the wall not long after. Then I read the instructions on the box and they tell you to use the tape vertically. When you do, it sticks well. This tape is no different, and if you're new to Nano tape, this tape comes with simple usage rules on the side of the box. Follow them, and you won't be disappointed. This isn't the first Nano tape I've used. I purchased a small roll at Dollar Tree recently and used it to hang some pictures. This stuff has really impressed me. It's really easy to remove if you decide to take something off and I've yet to have anything fall. These rolls have been just as good so far. It's nicer tape too, very thick very sticky, but it doesn't leave any residue on my scissors when I cut it. I used almost 1 whole roll putting up these bulletin board tiles. Think I'll use some in my car next. Reposition the GPS mount on my dashboard. I'll update the review if the heat under my windshield is too much for it. ... show more

This two-sided tape is awesome when it comes to holding two parts together. I have been using for test fits on woodworking and to hang pictures on other than painted walls. The removal properties work best if the tape is warmed and it releases easier. In general this tape has many uses of which is only limited by your imagination. The only thing that appears to limit use is where there is a layer of dust, dirt or saw dust which will inhibit adhesion. These rolls are wide and with proper application of the tape it will hold upwards of five (5) pounds (this I have done). This is clearly a product for your toolbox. ... show more

    • Nano Tape packaged on a spool instead of just a roll
I'm beginning to think that nano tape is nano tape is nano tape. I haven't used any that is better or worse than any other. But this product has the distinct advantage of being packaged on a spook rather than just a roll. If you've used nano tape from a roll, you know the sides like to stick to whatever's around, whether it's the plastic bag or box it's stored in, or dust/lint/dirt, etc. The spool sides keep the edges clean making it easy to get it in and out of the bag and box each time. ... show more

Great Quality Thick Double sided Tape. Easy to apply and holds very well. Utilizing sharp and clean cutter or blade will make you job easy. It does take some time to learn how to cut and not let it stick on its self. If it sticks to itself, you are better off cutting new piece. This is the thickest we have got so far.
