This is a perfect set for your little art lover! It's has 2 journals and a multitude of decoration ideas to make this more like a scrapbook in my opinion then a journal unless your going for the diary of a whimpy kid aspect or a burn book which hopefully that's not what your child would use it for but that's what popped in mind as an example! This is great for them to add photos and memories and add stickers and decorations to really paper the memory! Or express on journal entries as well! My pre-teen daughter and her friends are really into notebooks right now. This kit is great because it comes with a set of 2 so I let my daugther keep one at home and she took the other in her backpack to school. While I have her keep all of the supplies at home, the journal itself and pens are great to have at school. My daughter loves how the set comes with a bag that she put her glitter pencil, pens, eraser and ruler in to take to school. My daughter's favorite items in this set are the large variety of stickers and the glitter tape which both of those she uses all the time in the journals. As a mom, I like the positive message "Make each day your masterpiece" on the cover of one of the journals and also that everything is positive and no inappropriate or bratty stickers or writings. ... show more
