  • a little uncomfy
Color: Nude Size: One Size (Pack of 1)
first time using a product like this so wasn't sure what to expect. worn a few times now and it's good with the support and pain relief but it is pretty uncomfortable. if you're slightly bigger in your pregnancy than an "average" pregnancy, expect this to kind of roll up your lower abdomen and dig in to your ribs while sitting down. if you're standing and walking around, this product is fine and easy to handle. but sitting down, it's quite uncomfortable and feels like it's extremely noticeable. product came with no damaging and arrived in good time. sizing was correct and does a great job doing what it needs to, just know there will be certain times where it's going to be bothersome. ... show more

  • I’ve been pregnant 5 times. This is the best belly band I’ve owned
Color: Black Size: Plus Size (Pack of 1)
I’ve owned several belly bands over the years to help with the postpartum period. This one is the best one I’ve tried, and I’ll tell you why. First because of the stays that help the band to act more like a corset than a piece of elastic cloth. Second because of the second piece. If you’re a bit heavier like me, you might have experienced belly bands that flip or roll up at the hips. It’s annoying and it can be painful. This belly band has a second piece that goes over the bottom of the main part, specifically at the hip area, which keeps that area tight and prevents it from rolling up. Additionally, both the band and the second smaller component can be tightened in one or multiple ways, allowing you to get the best support and best fit possible. That being said, the only caveat is that it can be a struggle to get on initially, until you are a bit more experienced and used to getting it on. It is a bit more complex in how it’s put on, as well. Despite this, I’d still give it 5 stars because it does what it’s supposed to, and it does it well and (for me) beyond my expectations. ... show more

  • Stop researching. Buy this one.
Color: Black Size: One Size (Pack of 1)
I needed compression on my abdominal area after abdominoplasty, or tummy tuck as it's also known. I am currently in my third week post operation, and have been wearing this belt for a few days. This is a review for: "2 in 1 Postpartum Support Recovery Belly Wrap Waist/Pelvis Belt Body Shaper Postnatal Shapewear,One Size." I am currently a size 6/8 dress, 5'6", 150-ish, a couple days post surgery I measured my waist at 33 inch. This fits well. The surgeon sends you home in a compression garment that holds you in well, but within a week, that garment starts rolling down at the top and up at the bottom, especially as you sleep or move around. I found myself in a constant struggle to keep it in place, which defeats the purpose. Frustrated, I went online and began searching for something sturdier and longer lasting, given that I'll need to continue wearing compression wear for several weeks to months. I looked at many options online and on Amazon. I finally decided to give this one a try. The price I paid was $22, and the reviews were good. I also like that this is intended for medical application - post partum. I figured it could work similarly for those who are post tummy tuck, and I was right. This garment comes in two pieces, and you wrap it around yourself to the desired tightness. It attaches by velcro. The larger piece I use on the top of my abdomen just under the breast area and it reaches just below my belly button. Depending on my mood, I am able to pull this sucker as tight as I want, or just tight enough to achieve the prescribed post surgical purpose. And there is so much support! I love it. I then wrap the second smaller piece around the little pooch of my tummy on and under the belly button to just above the pubic area. Again, I can stretch it as tightly as I want. With the two pieces, I am now compressed from just under my boob line (that's a medical term, by the way), to right above my pubic area. On me, there is even a bit of overlap between the two pieces. This belt is world's better than the one provided by my plastic surgeon which stopped being truly functional after about a week and which cost me $48 -- more than double what I paid for this item, which is much higher quality. In fact, I plan on wearing this belt to my next follow up appointment to show my doctor an alternative that he might want to consider using or recommending for his patients after the garment he provides begins to fail. My only regret is that I did not research this before surgery and have it at home, ready to go when it was time to transition out of the quickly-worn-out-and-entirely-too-expensive-white-basic-belt routinely used by most plastic surgeons. I have only been wearing this a few days, so I can't comment on it's longevity, but it seems like it'll last a while, even with months of 24/7 wear. We shall see, but at this price point, even if it were to wear out after a month or two of wear and washing, I would buy another as I intend to continue wearing compression garments for several months to ensure the best possible results of my very expensive procedure. My boyfriend tells me this doesn't add bulk under my clothes. I wore a dress that used to be form fitting before my surgery, and he was impressed that he couldn't even tell I was wearing the belt under my dress. Even so, I'm experimenting with other compression belts for when I have to return to work and wear business suit attire. I haven't tried this under my work clothes yet, but in these hot, muggy, oppressively humid Florida streets, I can tell you that too many layers of clothing can be a bad thing. Still, even if I'm not using this under my lined suits during the work day, I'll be wearing it at home, to sleep, and running errands. It's very comfortable and pulls me in so tight I haven't been able to finish my dinner the last two nights. And I like that. Don't be like me and spend hours reading reviews and scrolling through endless options. If you're in need of abdominal compression, just buy this. Just do it. The time I spent researching before buying this could have been spent on much better activities like Netflixing, petting my cat, or aggravating my kid for my personal amusement. ... show more

  • Smaller than described. But super supportive.
Color: Nude Size: Plus Size (Pack of 1)
I originally ordered the regular size. I’m not a big girl. 170 pounds or so and I typically wear size large. The regular size DID NOT even reach around my belly. So I reordered the plus size. Once I got that, I really like it and wish I had it with my first. Some is slightly becoming unraveled but I love how this is easy for me to bind by myself. ... show more

  • Great Support for postpartum
Color: Z-black Size: One Size (Pack of 1)
I ordered this belt for my wife after delivery through CS since the one we had was not supportive enough and she had to take care of the kids (breastfeed and clean them, we had twin girls) She was so relieved from the first wear as the belt given in the hospital had lost its elasticity and she needed to hold her tummy as part of the healing process. i was so glad i bought this. Note this is good for both CS and normal V delivery and comes with a simplified user manual ... show more

  • NOT FOR Tummy Tuck Recovery
Color: Black Size: One Size (Pack of 1)
First, the lower support has very poor quality velcro and as soon as I move, lay, bend or sit it pops off. And I am an average size, not plus size. Therefore, I have to wear the main belt without the lower pelvis part. Second, I would personally would not recommend this for tummy tuck recovery or anything similar. The pressure and compression is mainly in the center of the abdomen, whereas scars and major swelling for this surgery is in the lower section. It just leaves pressure in the wrong areas. I have no choice but to wear it for now because I didn’t order a back up and am 5 days post op, but this thing is not soft or comfortable and isn’t a good long term solution for my recovery. ... show more
