We recently moved to a new place and every one (5 different neighbors!) ALL have doggos! What a dog neighborhood we live in! Since moving here, my pup is on high alert CONSTANTLY staring outside and looking over his kingdom. This never happened in our old house. His barking had gotten out of control which is so atypical for him. I needed something to help this so I decided to finally invest in a bark collar. As looking, I started thinking I can't add yet another collar around his neck (as we do use an e-collar, never make it past the sound though as my dog is well-trained with just the sound. Then I stumbled on this product and this has been ideal! The color is gorgeous! I got the orange as I have Complex Regional Pain Syndrome & Ovarian cancer and orange is the color for CRPS. It is such a a rare neurological syndrome it is hard to come across cute quality orange items which is the color of the ribbon for CRPS. The comfort of the remote in my hand is great! Very ergomical for my small hands even! The functionality and buttons all make sense for their locations and I can tell it has actually been thought out (many other e-collars we have had have NOT been this case! The shock level goes up high, but it is so easy to control and not actually shock as there is a button on the collar as well that needs to be pressed to go from one mode -only sound- to the other modes, sound plus vibrate, sound plus vibrate plus shock. This is a really great feature given I have littles and try as might to keep it up higher than they can reach, occasionally they still get their little grubby hands on it and now my pup doesn't get accidentally shocked! All e-collars should take note of this and go to this idea. Another time, my older son had the remote in his hand as he was helping Dad outside move some things around. Ad I sat inside my bernadoodle start yipping and jumping around and we couldn't figure out why. It turns out that he had accidentally turned the lock off in his pocket and the furniture he was helping move was pressing into the buttons shocking him constantly!! Poor guy!! I'm grateful this setup can completely avoid that from happening-msybe not the sound as that's the mode we keep it on, but I find that the click mover to go from locked to unlocked provides a bit more safety by being a bit tougher of a switch than others while not being too hard to switch on and off. So far so good for being waterproof, but I cannot really speak on it too much as my big guy aka a mountain dog 75% Bernese, despised water with every strand of fur on his oversized being! Speaking of oversized, my guy has a big neck so I can guarantee you that it will be good for your big dog as the collar they give you is so long. The you can just trim it up to the size that you want for your pup. Lastly, is the comfort on the dog which I do not think enough people credit as important- not intentionally, just don't really think about it when shopping for one on the market (I know I didn't). This collar has the rubber nubs to put on the end of the prongs to add for comfort and once again safety to lessen the chances of shocking pain for my good, but occasionally loud and rambunctious guy. This collar is comfortable for him and super easy to click to get on and off, but he absolutely has not minded it at all as you can tell by his Sunday morning resting and reposing he enjoys on my bed 💖. I absolutely would but this again for the quality and functionality they've made it with. So do your doggie a favor and get this one and don't worry about having to add an e-collar AND a bark collar. 🐕🦺🦴🐕🐩🐶🐾 ... show more

This training collar is good, I love that you can lock it so it doesn’t accidentally shock your pup! It was super easy to use and figure out the functions on it! 09/26 update….So sad the collar broke after the return period but this seller is so awesome they still agreed to replace it for us. Couldn’t ask for a better experience and we love this little collar!! This is our second bark collar. The first one became inoperable after a few years of abuse with a dog that has since passed away. That dog was a husky and never learned. We had to use the collar till her end. But I digress… We have a new dog, a puggle, that is the epitome of the little yappy, super obnoxious dog that we all know and hate. We hoped she would outgrow it, but she only got worse. She barks at absolutely everything, even the wind rustling the trees. And she doesn’t stop. She’ll lay down and keep barking incessantly long after the trigger. Even holding her mouth shut didn’t work. She’d continue to bark through the clenched hand. It was a living nightmare. Every time someone entered the room, even if they just went to the bathroom and came right back, it would start all over again. The front door, people walking out front, the planes flying overhead, the gardener, the microwave, absolutely everything. But she’s the wife’s baby, and it took alot of convincing, until one day in a fit of rage I just ordered it without her permission. I spent alot of time reading the manual that is printed in the worlds tiniest font, but it’s a very straightforward device and I really appreciate the simplicity of operation. I definitely spent way too much time over thinking it. It’s plug and play. But better safe than sorry. Put it on the first night after I felt I understood it well enough and waited for trigger. She barked, then I heard the warning tone and she paused. Barking continued and then it vibrated, which sent her spiraling, but she still resumed barking after recovering. Then the shock and holy cow! She must have launched 6 feet off the ground and right out of the collar. Scurried under the table and “no bark”. Reattached the collar and made sure it was latched properly and waited for another trigger. BOOM! She starts barking. As soon as she heard the tone, she lost her mind. Started running in circles not sure what to do and let out another bark…there went the vibrate. She runs outside in a panic and barks one more time and then we heard the yelp and knew she got the shock. Brought her back inside and sat with her on the couch for a LONG time. One trigger after another came and went and she just laid there. After a couple hours of peace, I took the collar off and disabled the shock mode. That was over a week ago and she hasn’t barked more than twice, both times, the tone instantly silenced her. Was it a win? I don’t know yet. Her personality and demeanor have changed completely. I think maybe she lived to bark. Like, barking is what gave her the spark, gave her life meaning. Not being able to bark anymore seems to have taken the wind out of her sails. She’s not nearly as playful and active, and does a lot of laying around compared to running around the yard barking at everything, wagging her tail and having a great time. It feels like a hollow victory. She’s still a super happy and well cared for dog and we never re-enabled shock mode as it’s not necessary. But she just seems off now and we hope time will heal. Every dog’s different. The shock collar didn’t really phase our husky, but it did stop her barking. Side note…the bark collar we had for the husky was triggered by other nearby barking dogs which was kind of sad. We are SUPER pleased that this collar is NOT triggered by our other dogs barking. Stops barking - YES Easy operation - YES Long battery life - YES Rechargable - YES DURABLE - YES Versatile sizing - YES Do I recommend - YES Would I buy again - YES Final thought…I bought this collar specifically because it had a remote and was hoping to use it as a training collar. I think those are super awesome features and wish we could use them. But the warning tone spins her out so much I can’t imagine it would be effective for her.
