I love it. For my line of work it’s speeds things up greatly. It does seem to be off by 1/16” but knowing that I always just round 1/16” down from what the digital display says.

It is a little heavy, but not bad overall. Easy to use, selectable measurements (in, cm, ft, etc), display is bright. Very pleased so far and it came with a full charge.

    • LOVE it...BUT : It's accurate only to 1/16". And NOT easy to learn 'cause of no manual

Awesome....(once you finally figure it out by yourself and with poor youtube vids). No manual comes with it. There are two things I don't like however. It's accurate to 1/16" which is probably fine for most stuff, but if you are moving between 16th's it won't change to the next 16th until you move all the way to it. Ie; it reads 3 1/16" even when you are just a tad past that distance...and it won't change to 3 1/8" ( 3 2/16" of course) until you get all the way to 3 1/8". What it should do is to read 3 3/32" of an inch when you are in between those numbers. But ok, that's for finish carpentry work. The other really cool thing (that is almost impossible to figure out by yourself) is that it also displays "inside dimensions"....so it knows to automatically add 3 1/4" (the length of this device) to the measurement when you are measuring the distance between two walls for example. But how I finally got it to do that is a mystery to me still... I keep pushing buttons and trying to find the combo that gets me there. But once there I can easily switch between inside dim's and outside dims, if that makes sense. It also stores your dim's so you can measure a bunch of boards, then go cut them w/out writing it all down. ... show more

    • Good, but not the most accurate

I have always had a hard time reading tape measures because of my eye site. So when I saw this, I thought it would be great to have something that would give the measurement in an easy to read format. It is easy to read, the display is great. The buttons are not overly intuitive, and a few times I have screwed up measurements because I have pressed the wrong button twice rather than once (reminds me every time of the old adage about measuring twice). My biggest gripe is that it is not consistently accurate. There have been more than one occasion where I have measured the same board twice and gotten slightly different measurements (e.g. 1/10 of an inch difference). Most of the time that is not a problem, but it seems like randomly it will do this, especially in smaller measurements. Overall I like this product because it solves the problem I had with my eyesight, I just make sure that I am measuring multiple times to catch the inaccuracies. ... show more

    • Fantastic for those of us who face visual issues at times

Occasionally, if my eyes are tired, I have a nystagmus. This means, if it's the near the end of a day and I've been using my eyes a lot, my eyes have a hard time "selecting" between two small adjacent marks on a ruler. So, if I'm measuring something that is 7 3/8, my eyes may jiggle back and forth between 7 1/4 and 7 7/16. This doesn't ALWAYS happen, but it happens often enough that it bothers the heck out of me. But with this tape measure, if I start to experience the "jiggling" of my visual focal point, I can just look at the digital readout on top (instead of trying to focus on the lines on the tape) and get an exact measurement of 7 3/8... or whatever. I have a separate laser measuring device, so that's not a function I needed in this tape. It does what it is supposed to do, and it does it very well. This tape measure is an absolute game-changer and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. One of the standout features of this digital tape measure is the digital display. It provides incredibly accurate measurement, down to 1/16th of an inch, with a clear and easy-to-read display. The sizes are displayed in both imperial and metric units, making it easy to switch between measurement systems. Another great feature is the ability to measure from both the front and back of the tape measure. This is particularly useful for measuring inside corners or tight spaces where you can't get a clear view of the display. Overall, I am delighted with purchasing the Digital Tape Measure.
