So, we needed a compatible garage door opener when we rented our latest apartment. The landlord only gave us the one remote for the car. I wanted to use the garage for ingress when using the bicycle or taking a walk. This remote was exactly like the one he gave us when we moved in. I bought a two-pack so my wife would have an extra. They arrived sooner than promised. Setting up the new remotes took less than ten minutes— not including the time it took to find my most powerful reading glasses necessary to squint-read the tiny print on the instruction sheet. Do they work? Boy-howdy, do they work! They open the garage door to our rural apartment from at least ⅛ mile away which is how long our driveway is. Now, there are no obstructions along the way, but I was astonished to see our garage door open when I arrived after pressing the button when I first entered the driveway. In fact, I had to close the door, then go back to the end of the driveway and open it again to see if I wasn't mistaken. Even from within the car, it opens it from that far away. The controls worked fine, but for whatever reason, it doesn't let you control the same buttons. For example, I wanted all the larger buttons to be the buttons to press to open and close the garage, but it only let me program two that way, and then I had to program the other two using the smaller button. ... show more

These are so much better than I expected them to be! They are identical to the originals we got when we got our new opener from Lift Master. Took me less than 5 minutes to program both of them. I checked with the local garage door shop to get a replacement. I was quoted a price of $100 and $15 for shipping. So I went to Amazon. Getting the 2 openers for $18 was a great deal! I was a bit worried about getting them programmed because there were no directions included. I checked YouTube, found a tutorial, and gave it a go. Hubs went up the ladder and pressed the yellow button and I pressed the remote button. Couldn't have been any simpler! EASY!! ... show more

But tech support solves the problem. We followed the directions, but could not get the remotes to pair. I chatted with the tech and he sent me a link that walked us thru pairing. The instructions were in no way the same as what was written. But with the help of the video they paired, and they work just fine! ... show more

The product was delivered and as expected. However, one programmed perfectly the other one no matter how many times I tried or using the different methods to program, it never worked. I only really need one - Update, the one that work keeps dropping program. Will toss these two in the trash and buy one that works - OME mostlikely ... show more
