  • Easy to install
Style: 877MAX Keypad
Easy to install, pretty straight forward, no issues so far!

  • Works well
Style: 877MAX Keypad
I got this to replace one like it, and I think I could have kept my old one because..READ THIS...IT IS IMPORTANT!! The new one didn't always work either, so I called the seller, and he said to hold in on the enter button longer so the signal can work better, and that works like a charm. I was just punching it in like the code, but it sometimes takes a couple more seconds to activate the door. I hope this helps someone! ... show more

  • Good for the price -- have to hit ENTER multiple times though...
Style: 877MAX Keypad
The opener is good for the price and programming it was fairly straightforward. I do find that I have to hit ENTER more than once after putting in the code. Minor inconvenience but I do have to let friends/family know to do that if they think the code isn't working.

  • Very easy to program.
Style: Black(Keychain & Visor Type)
This was the fastest universal remote I've ever programmed! I didn't expect it to come with a battery pre-installed so that was a pleasant surprise too. It works on the first button press and I've had no issues so far.

  • Works, but...
Style: 877MAX Keypad
Bought this as a replacement for a Liftmaster 377LM which said online this is compatible. It works as a replacement but two things to note. First, because the new unit works with different brands and frequencies the process for programming are a lot longer than the old 377LM programming was. Secondly, the old 377LM had a one touch close. Just push the enter button and the open garage door would close. This new model requires the PIN be keyed in order to close the door. ... show more

  • Learner button Color Might Not Match Chart/Shut off pairing Mode before testing!!!!
Style: Black(Keychain & Visor Type) X2
TL;DR at bottom. My boyfriend and I just spent at least a half hour outside trying to get these to pair. According to the chart in the directions we should've needed to press our chosen buttons Twice for a Purple Learner Button (2005-2014). However, our Chamberlain was a 2011 product and we deduced that even though the Learner Button was Purple, it actually required the Yellow button portion of the chart on the directions. (Yellow Learner Button is associated with years 2011-Current.) We just tried this on a whim and got better results. However, neither remote finished pairing and nothing happened when we tested. On another whim, we tried taking the remotes OUT of pairing mode by pressing the II and III buttons while the LED light was on simply to start the process over sooner. This appeared to work. We were able to try again without waiting the full minute for the LED light to shut off on its own. NO WHERE IN THE DIRECTIONS DOES IT SAY TO TAKE THE REMOTE OUT OF PAIRING MODE AT ANY TIME. We just randomly tried this. Then I had another whim. Go through all five steps to pair these items. THEN press buttons II and III again to take the remote out of pairing mode. THEN test it. It FINALLY paired together properly. Other than this pairing process (with extra drama when we accidentally deleted ALL transmitters already paired in vehicles and another remote that also had to be re-paired, but none of that is relative to the transmitters I'm reviewing, just another thing to watch out for) these remotes actually work really well. Today is my first day using them and provided I don't have any problems from this point on, I don't see why anyone should be reluctant to get their own. With caveat of the extra steps we had to figure out on our own, I still would recommend these to anyone looking at them. Should I discover anything else amiss I'll be sure to put in an edit. TL;DR Purple buttons may actually be Yellow buttons in disguise (according to THIS product's instructions chart) if the Garage Door Opener Motor is 2011 or newer. Follow all directions, PLUS turn off pairing mode by pressing II and III simultaneously until LED light is off BEFORE attempting to test. My guess is, if the LED light is on at all that it is still in pairing mode, even if being paired was immediately successful. ... show more
