    • Better than the top strut bolt ons.
This kit bolts to the bottom of the strut as opposed to the top which makes installation easier. Built quality looks good considering the inexpensive cost of this kit compared to other brands. Time will tell if it holds up.

Well my truck definitely looks better now than it did before. For some reason these trucks come with an obscene amount of forward rake from the factory. It actually makes the trucks look more car-like, which nobody wants. Trucks should look big and bulky and stand more leveled out. Obviously if you are a heavy tower, then you'll want some rake to level out the truck when there is a load on it, but I think there's just too much rake from the factory. Anyways, installing these lower strut spacers is a fairly simple task. You do have to disassembly some components obviously, but it's simple enough most people should be able to figure it out without too much difficulty. The installation instructions say to disassemble most everything on the front end of the truck, but I found I was able to install these but simply disconnecting the upper control arm's ball joint and the lower strut bolts. With a couple of good sized pry bars I was able to pry the suspension down far enough to be able to get the spacers in place. Just so you know, the CV axle blocks one of the bolt holes on the lower strut mount, but with the upper ball joint disconnected, you can simply tip the steering knuckle backwards far enough to be able to install the bolt without any difficulty. Overall, the product seems to be pretty well made and installation wasn't too difficult. However, I do have one complaint: this "leveling" kit actually lifted the front end past the level point. The front end of my truck sits almost 1/4" higher than the back of my truck which is a little disappointing. Now if I put any weight in the back of the truck it will sit noticeably nose high. I would prefer that the truck either sit perfectly level or 1/2" nose down to compensate for some loaded weight. If you never haul any weight or you like the "carolina squat" style trucks that sit intentionally nose high, then you won't have any problems with this kit. If you want to maintain a little bit of forward rake, I would suggest either getting a 1" spacer for the back of the truck or getting a different leveling kit. ... show more

Installed this last night on my 2018 Silverado. Amazingly, and much to my surprise, the holes were perfectly lined up-- something you don't see very often anymore in stuff like this. Leveled out my truck perfectly but didn't make a large enough change to mess with the steering geometry. Overall, I give it an A+ ... show more
