  • Installation was a 30 sec breeze, working well so far
Style: Keychain Type 1B
I live in far eastern rural Maine in an apartment. I rent space in an older garage across the road to store my ATV (a camp wagon) and some of my camp gear. It has a "bay door" (garage door) with an electric lift that was installed in the early 2000's by a previous owner, but the current landlord never had remote controls for it. I was able to easily determine that these remotes would work with this unit (Sears Craftsman) using the learn button color (mine is purple). The programming directions are super clear and simple, made even better with clear illustrating photos. I had zero doubt what I was doing. My programming took all of 2 minutes, and 1 min 45 sec of that was moving my ATV under the motor so I could press the "learn button". Then I pressed button A on the remote, the LED blinked and I was done. I've opened and closed the door several times now, and it works without hitch. I don't need operation at a long distance; I use this within about 150' of the door motor, but no problems so far. Overall, I'm super happy. ... show more

  • Great little garage remote
Style: Keychain Type 1B
Got these this morning. Put a ladder under my garage door opener, a Craftsman 3/4 HP. The Learn button is not in back but in the light bulb compartment. Took more time to find the Learn button than to program the two remotes. Pushed Learn button. Pushed “A” on the remote. Light went on. Done. I had the visor remotes originally. However, after a few battery changes, they did not close completely. Had to squeeze the case while pushing the button. The new key chain remotes are closed with three screws, so I expect them to stay shut. I put a key ring on one remote to hang inside my house (a flat small key ring works). A zip tie should also work. The other remote is in a compartment in my car hidden from view. I had always worried about the visor remote being a target for a car break-in, leading to a garage break-in. I could easily carry the new remote in my pocket, especially since the sliding cover protects the activation buttons. If button A wears out, there is also button B that is programmable. ... show more

  • longer range, better look, and more codes
Style: Keychain Type 1B
I've used OEM and non-OEM remotes for my two Chamberlin garage door openers (one from the early 2000s and the other from the 2020s) and this is the only remote that works well for both. Even the OEM versions from other manufacturers would not allow programming for each of the buttons. It comes with clear instructions for programming and has a longer range, a better look, and works with more models than any of the other models I have tried. It also has a little sliding cover that protects the buttons from accidental pressing. It's been over a month now but I still marvel at the improvement. Love it! ... show more

  • These work great! Super easy to program and use!
Style: Visor Type 2
I am under the impression these are clones of the original. Yet the quality is exactly the same. They work, just as easily! These are an inexpensive and easy way to provide remotes to family members. Highly recommend. No fear! They work well. Instructions are simple and not difficult to follow. Make sure they are compatible with your Sears or Chamberlain Garage Door opener. These worked perfectly with my Yellow Wire Chamberlain opener. No hic-ups! ... show more

  • Great Product, Great Price, Love It
Style: Keychain Type 1B
We got the 2 pack, great value. We don't have an outdoor control, just inside the garage and in our cars. Whenever I went out on my bicycle it was such a pain, open the garage, put out the bike, close the garage, exit the house by side door, and repeat on return. There were also times I was doing yard work but the garage wasn't open and I needed to run through the house. These devices were VERY easy to program and work FLAWLESSLY! I highly recommend them. ... show more

  • For your pre 1993 Craftsman Liftmaster Garage Door Opener--when none of the others worked!
Style: Visor Type 2
Having a home built before 1993 means my garage door opener is ancient and most of the new replacement remotes will NOT work with it Had to get an older model CRAFTSMAN garage opener remote to work. The others had so many steps. This one only required press learn button, press garage door remote button--so easy after all my frustrations with the newer remotes!! ... show more

  • Worked with old Craftsman Door
Style: Visor Type 2
Worked great with my old Craftsman (2004) garage door. Pushed the red "learning" button and the remote picked up the correct code in 2 seconds. Seems to work great and was inexpensive.

  • Impressed
Style: Keychain Type 1B
Was looking for a key chain remote and found these. Was skeptical due to the price but they programed easily and work perfectly for our needs. We can just pop these in our pockets when going for hikes or bike rides.
