We installed the Nessxa 1.6 Gallon Electric Mini Tank Water Heater in our off-grid cabin near the water, where we rely entirely on solar panels for electricity. Since we only stay for a day or two at a time—mostly for fishing trips—this little heater is perfect for our basic needs. Pros: No waiting! It provides warm water immediately for washing hands, dishes, and quick cleanups. Fits neatly under the sink without taking up much space, which is great for our small cabin setup. Works well with Well Water, so far it has no issue, though we do have a simple filter to help prevent buildup. It is also energy efficient, and it doesn’t put too much strain on our solar system, making it a great option for an off-grid setup. First off the unit is advertised as 1.6. The unit that arrived was 1.8 gallon. The instruction book (if you can call it that) is next to useless. The unit registers in Celcius only and cannot be changed. A unit sold in the US should be able to be converted to Farenheit.
