I bought this kit for my husband and he loved it. He infused a few spirits before the infusion bottle fell over on the counter and shattered. It didn’t fall hard, it didn’t fall to the floor it was knocked over on the counter and completely shattered. We not only lost the infusion bottle but also a half bottle of whiskey. I was very excited about this gift, but as soon as I opened it, it broke. There is a metal insert and when I pulled it out, the top of the glass shattered. I bought this as a holiday gift for my husband and I think I'm even using it more because it's so much fun, especially when having guests, or classing-up our Friday afternoon "Ambiance Time." It all looks so lovely on the bar, that we have purchased all of the sets, and all are of utmost quality in materials and design. We have used several of the infusion mixtures now, and find its easy to get the concentration level right as the mixtures are designed to complete infusion in 6 hours or less. Usually 4 is perfect for us. The Teroforma website has brilliant and inspiring recipes. We have dabbled in food pairings to great success as we have found the flavors inspiring to do so. I got this as a gift and its pretty awesome. The design is good and instructions are clear and easy. They also have great suggestions for what liquor to use for each spice blend. What really makes this cool is they have developed some great "tea" blends that work well with alcohol. I infused Hendrick's Gin with the No. 1 Citrus blend and it turned out awesome. Technically you could just buy their variety packet and infuse and strain this with your french press but the bottle is attractive enough to display at my bar and I want to use my french press the next day for coffee. ... show more
