I used 35 lb of sand in each one, I set up my tent and placed each one and 3 out of the 4 ripped and was pouring out sand at my event before I could even use it. I was so disappointed that sand was pouring out of those 3 bags before it even started. Definitely poorly made. Don’t waste your money or your time. Since each of these bags is supposed to hold 54 pounds of sand I bought four 50 pound bags of play sand. After filling the four bags I still have 3/4 of a bag of sand left, so the 54 pound claim is bs. First time I used them, I got one Velcro strap around the tent pole, reached for the second one, and the first strap ripped off the bag letting it fall over. While filling one of the bags, it ripped when only half the bag was filled with sand. These arrived just in time for an event the following morning, but unfortunately could not be used because it ripped down the seem. The other 3 were fine but we also didn’t fill them to capacity out of fear that they may rip. Giving 1 star since one tore down the seem and it unfortunately left us in a terrible position given we had to leave for our event at 6am and stores were not open to buy a replacement, which resulted in one of our stands not being able to be set up. ... show more

They are heavy enough to keep things in place if a stiff breeze. All bags split seam within two days at the beach. Also a couple of the Velcro fasteners tire off. Overall ok for the price. Would be better if seams and Velcro straps were sewn more durable.

The media could not be loaded. Edit: Reduced to 2 star. 3 bags burst at the seams after my second event. There's no liner so I put garbage bags inside as a sand liner, each bag holds ~42lbs which is what I was looking for. The carrying handles are pretty useless because when you pick it up the handle opens the velcro seam, so if you don't have a liner sand would pour everywhere when you move it. Velcro isn't very tight. The seams have light coming through which means they're probably going to burst. The value is there, but quality is not.
