This is just the fabric to replace your existing awning on trailer,or possibly house or other awning use. I got it for my Kiwi trailer as the awning was "toast". I am new to doing this type work, but had some helpers. First off, we placed it out in the sun on a warm day, as it came folded and needed to "ease" the fold marks out. That gave us time to remove the old awning and replace one of it's legs (thats another story). Taking the old one off and replacing it immediately helped us problem solve, and it was very easy to get the new one on. We rolled it out and back numerous times, and just love the color as it fades lighter near the trailer, so it is not quite so dark, but the dark color is outward where the sun hits it the most, quite an innovative idea. We will keep it rolled up when not in use and it should last a long time (and not rolling it up wet, so we may have to unroll it if it rained on our camping trip, which it usually does, thats why we have a trailer now). ... show more

If your awning is more than 5 years old, you probably have pin-holes up at the top where you can see light through them. It won’t be long until those pin-holes turn into tears and from tears, into wind destruction on the highway! Don’t let that old awning go unattended any longer. This is a very good value and will restore your confidence that the awning will not turn into a sail when you’re out on the highway. You will need to open this up and let it settle in the sun to get the larger fold wrinkles out of it before installing. Once installed, you should open and close it a few times to get the wrinkles out. Unfortunately, this awning fabric doesn’t support an awning LED, so you will need to come up with another solution for that. I keep up with my reviews and will revisit this one should the need arise. I give this awning my Big-Foot “Stomp” of approval and 4 stars! ... show more
