The hooks on the back are not level, which makes it hard to hang straight. The nails provided are awful. Just use a regular nail.

The back of the frame was very loose since it was smaller than the frame itself. As packaged, the back was not fastened to the frame and it was impossible to put the fasteners on perpendicularly since they were too long (?) If you did manage to get two on completely, one would always be jutting the edge of the frame out (why was the wood so soft?) Also, one of the fasteners snapped and broke immediately. This is a beautiful frame that arrives well protected with corner protectors. The quarter turn tabs to secure and remove the back make disassembly and assembly a breeze. I ordered the 16 X 20 frame which states matted to 12X12 in the headline and states "can be matted to 11 X 14" deeper into the listing. The single 16 X20 frame is indeed matted to 12 X 12 which is a less common size. The three pack of 16 X 20's comes matted to 11 X 14. Fortunately I have a talented daughter who knows how to cut mat and we cut it for another use at 14 X 18 rather than the 11 X 14 use that I'd first planned for this frame The edges of the glass are rounded to make injury from it unlikely. A couple of hangers are included but I am not confident enough in them to trust this nice frame and a piece of original artwork to them. I'll use ordinary finishing or small head nails instead. ... show more

Nice sturdy frame. I actually removed the glass to use it as a frame for a moss wall art project. The moss looks beautiful against the black frame and it's a good size.
