Update: since Christmas, one of the two has lasted until mid-March only playing an about once per week. The charging light flashes, and the unit can only be played if it’s plugged in. I bought replacement batteries, but same condition. Defeats the purpose of it being a travel item. I’d bought two of these for my 7 & 5 year olds for Christmas that wanted a Switch, but are otherwise ruthless on their toys. So far they’ve held up great, and there are enough games to keep them entertained when they care to play with them. So many choices and I've already found my faves and although it seems to be geared more towards kids, I especially love the puzzle section to keep the old brain cells in shape....Supposed to be card games on here but all I found was Black Jack....Great value for the price and will definitely keep you entertained, there's something for everyone of all ages!! ... show more

Overall, I was excited to have a 'gameboy' for my toddler to learn games that aren't complicated. He got it for Christmas and 6 weeks later where the charger plugs into broke off completely (terrible soldering job). Checking other reviews on Amazon I notice this was a common problem 02/2024. Return window closed in 01/2024. Haven't been able to get any answers, so I am likely out my money and now have a sad toddler. Very small, hard to get the hang of with navigation of games. A lot to choose from but not much fun. Adult would have to go through to figure out. Most of the games are designed for kids under 10 years of age. Only a couple of games that adult might like.. but very difficult to see anyhow.
