The case arrives rolled in a ball covered in taped-up plastic wrap. It wasn't obvious how to get the sax inside the case -- you have to put it in upside down. And then there is no safe place to put your neck and mouthpiece: just the second pocket, banging around with whatever else you carry (such as reeds, swabs, etc). Product is very sturdy and protective of the instrument. More for an adult this product was hard for my child to use it was hard for her to get her sax in to it.
