    • High quality cores and great value
I am a stickler about valve cores. I cannot stand ones that are not precisely made resulting in slow leaks. I even bathe cores in tire mounting compound before installing them as this makes them more airtight. As a result my tubes and tubeless tires can go for up to a year without losing any pressure. So a cheaply made valve core bothers me. I was not sure what to expect with 150 Schrader cores for just $10 which is a great price. What I did was to compare these cores under magnification to some cores I had on hand that I know to be good quality cores. The two kinds were indistinguishable. Therefore I conclude that these cores are going to hold air over months as good as the cores I had on hand, which are very good cores. I take Vine reviewer obligations seriously, so I also counted the cores. There were actually 152, so a couple extra. In sum these are a great product at a great price. ... show more

    • Not as good a deal as I had thought but still good. 7-cents each seems average
I had thought these were an amazing deal at 7-cents each. But after doing some research on amazon, that seems to be around the going rate from a lot of sellers. I'll probably need about one or two Valve Stem Cores per year. So now I definitely have enough to last two fairly long lifetimes. That's quite a few more than I'll ever need but it is kind of nice to have them around. The only Valve Stem Cores I've ever had go bad have been the two or three (in 20 years) that have got caked up with Slime Puncture Sealant. And Slime has saved me from having to change an innertube on the side of the road enough times to know that I'll never ride without it. It always gets me home. But what can go wrong with a Valve Stem Core? Not much that I can see. And now that I have 150 of them on hand, I'll never have to worry about it. ... show more

Bought these because it seems like we are always having a valve stem problem on our commercial vehicles. Something about them becoming clogged up with beads from inside the tires. But anyway, these work great! have saved us from a bunch of issues.

Compact, heavy plastic zip-lock baggie full of valve stems. I love it so much. I went to a local bike store once trying to BUY a SINGLE valve stem and they basically treated me like a peasant for 'wasting their time' with such a menial purchase. They didn't sell it to me. Get yourself a fat giant bag, change them out ever year, ensure a good seal, and smile! ... show more

If you have been around for awhile, you know what I am talking about. Eventually you will run into low tire pressure. This is the first thing to replace. They go bad all the time and you always think you have a nail. You may, but this is by far the easiest thing to try first. Buy the tool and keep it with the bag.
